Traveling to Japan and do not want incoming calls costing me $.25
I Know I get Free international data,Text and VOIP calls are free with my Max55+ plan. I was told and have also read in the simple global terms that any incoming calls VIA cellular or WiFi will be charged $.25 a minute even if I do not answer it’s a given $.25 charge.I enabled, “Block Content Downloads”,”Spam Blocker” and “Charged international roaming” in my account is this pretty much all I need to do and still be able to have Data,Text and make VOIP calls on Line,Whats App and FaceTime?

Thanks for the 411 on Line. I was not aware of the app. With all the cute emojis I can see how it is popular in Japan. I tend to prefer Signal, myself.
BTW, some folks forward their T-Mobile line to Google Voice. I don’t find this very reliable but it works for some folks.

Thank you great information! While my wife was in Japan last year, I was back in the USA we used mostly Line and some FaceTime and We had no surprise charges. Line is very popular in Japan.
