Re: International Data
Most postpaid plans have free data & text, and 25¢/min talk in Vietnam. You need to confirm with customer service if your particular plan is included. I recommend having some sort of backup plan, such as a prepaid data eSIM from a 3rd party, such as one of the local carriers.27Views0likes0CommentsRe: HOw to contct customer service abroad????
When you are abroad there is a special number you are supposed to call for support (+1-505-998-3793). This is a free call from any T-Mobile phone, either on the cellular network or using WiFi Calling. When I consider all the things that have to work just right for international roaming to work, it amazes me that it works at all. I always recommend that international travelers have a backup plan for everything, including communications. In case you are not aware, the economy of Argentina is on the brink of collapse. There could be some financial reason that roaming is not working. (Just a WAG)62Views1like0CommentsRe: Wanting to return ~7-10 year old CellSpot, fastest way to get return label?
I just got the e-mail a couple of weeks ago saying that the warehouse accepted my returned CellSpot TM-AC1900. Getting the return label was like pulling teeth. Eventually, TForce (on X/Twitter) sent me a return label with a RMA number of all ones (e.g. 111111111) which concerned me but it worked. My understanding is that the problem is that the TM-Ac1900 doesn’t list it’s SKU (# 610214693976) anywhere, without which the S/N is of no use to the return system. The important thing is if it is still shown on your account profile. If it is, you are on the hook for that ancient piece of junk. Here is a discussion I started on Reddit on the topic.57Views1like0Comments
