5G Gateway intermittent outage
Should any representative see this , this is a formal complaint about continual disruptions of service and continued rebooting and reconnecting of devices. I've already replaced one gateway and just months into service I am having the same issues. I'm wondering if you , any of you who represent T-Mobile , understand the frustration and annoyance with having not only continual interrupts of service , but having to go though the process of reconnection time after time after time minutes apart from each other. One selling point was being located within less than 50 yards of your cell tower. For a company that claims to be the world leader in cell communications , I expect better. Perhaps less dollars spent on advertising and more on technological advanced and upkeep is due? I recently switched to T-Mobile after being with Verizon for 5 years with my S24 Ultra. My phone is unlocked and actively works on the T-Mobile network however I do not have any updates when I check my phones settings. I hit refresh almost every day since the news that the 7.0 UI was released on T-Mobile's network but my phone still has not received it. Looks like the update released around April 23rd or so for T-Mobiles phones. I am stuck on March's Security Patch as well. So has anyone with the S24 Ultra received the UI 7.0 update? If not, does anyone know who I can contact for support or what I have to do on my end to fix this issue? I'm tech savvy so only explanation I can think is since I switched from Verizon a couple of months ago, my phone was not enrolled for OTA updates with T-Mobile.Plants3 hours agoVisitor4Views0likes0CommentsOverseas Travel: How can I avoid incoming call costs but still use free text/data roaming while abroad?
We're planning to travel to Europe later this year and would like to take advantage of T-Mobile's free international text/data roaming. However, I saw that incoming calls are charged at one minute even if you don't answer; per T-Mobile's website: "If your phone is on when you get an incoming call, even if you do not answer it, the call is charged one minute for delivery to the phone. (There are no charges if your phone is turned off.)" I get multiple robocalls/telemarketer calls per week, and I don't want to rack up charges for unwanted calls. Is there any way to temporarily turn off incoming calls or route them directly to voicemail to avoid charges? If so, what are the steps to do that?Solvedescriteur3 hours agoRoaming Rookie41KViews2likes52CommentsNeed Help with Home Internet Issue
Hi all, I'm new to T-Mobile Home Internet and also new to this community. I’ve been having some trouble with my internet connection lately and I’m not sure what to do. Can someone please point me in the right direction for basic troubleshooting? I’d really appreciate any advice or tips you can share. Thank you so much!jorjabelle4 hours agoVisitor20Views0likes1CommentNewbie to TMHI...so what are we supposed to do with IPV4 devices?
I just set up my TMHI “router” (yes, in airquotes), and am very happy with the speed, but I’m not happy that a couple of my devices won’t connect to it at all. Neither my 2021 wired Ring Doorbell, nor my Sense Labs home entergy monitor will connect to the router. I switched the mode from Automatic to 2.4GHz, but no luck. I’m guessing it is related to the router only handling IPV6. As soon as I switched the devices back to use my old router (an actual real router...Linksys EA7500), both devices reconnected with no issues. I’m thinking of connecting my EA7500 to the TMHI router, and just continue to use it as I did when it was connected to my Spectrum cable modem. Any thoughts on how this will work for me, and what the disadvantages may be to doing so? Does anyone have an alternate solution to accomplish getting these devices to connect to the TMHI “router”? I just recewived a new 5G Gateway (Model: TMO-G4SE) a couple of days ago. However, looks like it didn't support GlobalProtect VPN (app version: 6.27-1047). Did anyone have the issue and find any solutions? I need that VPN to work remotely. If the issue couldn't be resolved, it would be a deal breaker for sure.yw20254 hours agoNewbie Caller364Views2likes6CommentsNewbie
I'm new to the T Mobile community switching over from US Cellular. The reason for switching is because of the rumored US Cellular buyout, and also interested in the upcoming Starlink communication making it possible to have talk/text pretty much anywhere. Although I don't have the connection I had w/US Cellular the T Mobile Gateway is much faster. I wounder if T Mobile has any plans to utilize the US Cellular towers ? I defiantly would help the coverage in my area increasing T Mobile's customer base. Thanks to all that reply!Bill565 hours agoNewbie Caller62Views0likes6Comments3 Bar signal only
The best signal I can get is only 3 bars, which is sluggish. I have the unit about 6' above the floor next to a window which I believe is facing the closest tower and while not an upstairs window, it is about 8-10' above ground level. Anyone know what else I can try to get a better signal? Thanks.rra785 hours agoNetwork Novice4Views0likes0Comments
