READ FIRST BEFORE FILING INSURANCE CLAIMS THRU ASSURANT
For anyone requesting a replacement phone for a defective phone, you may want to consider opening a lost/stolen device claim instead of a defective replacement claim. Read your insurance documents to ensure this is true for you. They are provided on the Assurant claim site when filing a claim after entering your device details. For lost/stolen claims, you'll receive your replacement for the same deductible charged if you opened a defective device claim without the responsibility of returning the defective device back to Assurant. By responsibility, this means being responsible for any and all charges if the device does not make it back to Assurant. This charge for a non-returned item can be as much as half or more of the returned device's cost if purchased brand new If you have a tier 6 device, this can end up being a surprise charge of $600 on your phone bill that you'll be responsible for paying as Tmobile or any phone carrier using Assurant for the services can do nothing about except shut off your services if you refuse to pay. So to make all those monthly insurance payments worthwhile, do yourself a favor and never file a claim to replace a defective device. Always file the claim for a lost/stolen device.YOURFACE4 hours agoRoaming Rookie7.5KViews3likes6CommentsTMobile + Starlink,
That's odd. Last time I looked, neither TMobile nor Starlink were part of the government. They were also useful during both east coast/west coast emergencies and in helping Ukraine Of course, At&t and Verizon are also pushing satellite servicesformercanuck5 hours agoFiber Fanatic735Views3likes4CommentsT Mobile is Terrible!!!! I was scammed, they know it, but won't fix it.
I have been a customer of T Mobile for 10 years! I recently tried to add another line and called in to my business representative. He told me someone new was now covering my account and said they would be contacting me. The new person called me and said since you've been a customer for 10 years I can not only add a line but can upgrade all your phones and even give you 2 free i-watches. He said the Only thing I would have to pay would be the tax on the new phones. He also said my bill would only go up by $25 a month with the new line and this would not extend my contract in anyway but it is a new promotion for existing customers.... So he sent me 3 phones, and watches. I got my bill and it was 3X more than my previous monthly bill. I tried to call him and got voicemail over and over. He never would return my calls. Now his # is disconnected. I never did hear back from him. I called T mobile to see what was going on and apparently he added 8 lines to my account. Which I obviously did not agree to. They said they will escalate it to their "fraud department" and will have me an answer soon. I didn't hear back for a week so I called back. I had to repeat the exact story again. The person once again said they will contact me but not to callback in because they have to listen to the recording of every interaction and me calling back would delay the resolution. I told them I am not paying my bill until this is resolved and they agreed that I didn't have to until it was fixed. 3 days later my service was shut off due to lack of payment. I received a text notice from a collection dept. I called back in and once again repeated the story because they acted as if they was my first call. They once again said not to call back in so I didn't for 2 more weeks and once again my service was disconnected! I have been on the phone with them 11 times and its been several months now. They have disconnected my phone service 5 times now and every time I call in they say it wont be disconnected again. Once was when I was out of the country. They disconnected my service while I was out of the country leaving me with no phone. I went to the local store and they re-documented everything and sent several emails. They also informed me that the rep who signed me up charged me full price for all the phones, lines, and even added some tablet lines and I don't even have any tablets! They could see I haven't used the 5 extra lines and said the whole thing looked very strange. You'd think this would be an easy fix but I cannot begin to explain the run around I have had trying to work with them. I even offered to bring in all phones and the watches and give them all back if they would cancel my service and they have not agreed to it and apparently I have to wait to see what will happen after the 3 month long, so far, fraud investigation. It is looking like I need to hire an attorney just to reason with them or this will never be resolved. Not sure what else to do. All my phones are currently shut off. Now when I call customer service and type in my # it goes straight to a line that says I need to pay a minimum $1300 to restore my service. And I cannot get it to transfer to anyone live. It is a nightmare. If your considering switching to T-Mobile DON'T DO IT! No other provider could possibly be this unresponsive, dishonest, and hard to deal with. T mobile is awful.RGD0005 hours agoVisitor31Views0likes0CommentsWorst Service
Customer service and their billing department are just HORRIBLE. I traded 4 phones under the same plan, the phones were exactly the same, traded it for four iphone 16s same model. After the trade in credit, I was supposed to pay $7.08 per phone. Got my first bill and every phone has a different credit. Not sure how you mess up something so simple. If you can avoid T-Mobile all together. The billing headaches are not worth the serviceJclizarazo7 hours agoVisitor17Views0likes0CommentsSatellite coverage while roaming
Hi, what are the plans/rules for getting Starlink SMS service while in no coverage areas (like overseas)? I have (incorrectly) assumed that when I am in a country where Starlink has been deployed and I have the Magenta global roaming plan, I would get coverage. That was false - I got coverage via regular 5G roaming but that's it. No cell tower, no connection. Is there any option - or plan that would provide Starlink Sattellite coverage in other countries? Thank you! T.TomasV7 hours agoVisitor16Views0likes0CommentsNew S22 update connection issues
Been with sprint/tmobile for a long while now. This recent android update makes me want to throw the phone out the window. The phone keeps dropping from the tmobile network and won't go back on for awhile. This started almost immediately after up date. No problem before 5Guc or 5G and now no signal what so ever. I have tried to manually select the tmobile network and it still won't connect. Even restarting won't connect for a few minutes. Anyone else experienced this?rogerk7 hours agoNewbie Caller104Views1like3CommentsWorst customer service
Tmobile became the worst customer service carrier since they became TMobile USA. The original TMobile customer service was not bad at all. The TMobile USA has the worst, I mean, the worst of all customer service of all any other carriers. Once you ported your numbers out of TMobile, that’s it, they don’t want to help you. They find all kinds of excuses not being able to help you. They keep telling you to call this and that, and when you call them, they told you to go to Store, etc. they keep bouncing you around until you give up calling or inquiring. Plus once your service is not with TMobile any longer, you loose the online access to billing in order to update the billing address for the credit proration. I don’t know why people keep switching over to TMOBILE?WhateverLah9 hours agoNewbie Caller6.3KViews25likes37CommentsHow Much Will My Bill Go Down If I Do Not Use My Phone Upgrade?
We are now 12 months into our 24 month phone upgrade cycle… 2 phones on the Go5G Plus 55 and home internet, $100 plus $30 = $130 per month. The bill for the phones show; Monthly charges $6.55 Remaining Balance $438.54 $36.55 installment with a $30.00 Apple Trade Monthly charges $2.62 Remaining Balance $391.40 $32.62 installment with a $30.00 Apple Trade I was wondering about our upgrade options, but what I want to know right now is; If we continue these payments for another 12 months until our phones are fully paid off and we DO NOT upgrade but continue to use these phones, how much will our bill go down? It looks like it says we are paying $36.55 + $32.62 a month for the phones right now, but I can’t believe that our bill will drop by that much! But it seems like it should go down by more than just the $6.55 and $2.62…. How will the new bill be calculated? Thanks!!!bowfrommi11 hours agoNetwork Novice52Views0likes1Comment
