$5.00 charge for speaking with customer service

My registered auto pay card was hacked and I tried to pay online and reconnect auto pay.  It allowed me to register new payment methods but wouldn't accept the payment 3 times!  Why I don't know.  I then called the so called customer service phone number to correct this issue and was told I would need to pay an additional fee of $5. because I spoke with a human!!!

This is bull and simply a money grab.  Until this bogus charge I had been completely satisfied with this carrier.

 

Also when someone searches for T-Mobile CS there are multiple numbers but no mention of this "speak to a human fee".  Shoddy sleazy practice.

    yup this just happened to me because their website was down and i couldn’t pay to turn my phone on. wasn’t aware id be charged or i would’ve just switched carriers lmao
