Re: VPN or Proxy Service Error Message - Unable to watch Amazon Prime Video
Folks - A quick update - I don’t know what changed but Prime Video works on my Samsung phone and Chromebook now (what a relief!). However, to be clear, Prime Video still does NOT work on my Sony Bravia TV.21Views1like0CommentsRe: VPN or Proxy Service Error Message - Unable to watch Amazon Prime Video
@nc1037Thank you for responding. I have a Sony Bravia Google TV mode: XR-42A90K. You could be right about a bug with Amazon software related to these TVs. YouTube, Apple TV and Netflix work just fine on my TV with the same service. As another troubleshooting step, I tried streaming Prime Video on my Samsung mobile phone, which is on the same T-mobile 5G Home Internet WiFi and this did not work either. Next, Iturned off WiFi on my mobile phone, thereby forcing data transfer over the cell LTE network and this time Prime Video worked/ streamed just fine.21Views1like0CommentsRe: VPN or Proxy Service Error Message - Unable to watch Amazon Prime Video
I have the same problem. T-MOBILE Support did some troubleshooting and then said that it's an Amazon Prime issue. I contacted Amazon Support. I was told they are "working on it" the Support person couldn't give me a time frame for the fix.25Views1like0CommentsRe: Home Internet customer service is poor
Thanks everyone. I managed to get a support agent on the phone. They have promised a call back a week from now. Let’s see. The support agent explained HSI is a phone number associated with the gateway. I also requested the agent to loga request to T-mobile IT on my behalf to correct their web forms so that customers can clearly understand what information is being requested, instead of using acronyms thata customer won’tunderstand (HSI)and confusing sentences that ask for one thing but mean something else (contact phone number).13Views0likes0CommentsRe: Home Internet customer service is poor
T-mobile sent me instructions for submitting a refund request for the early termination fees incurred from my previous provider when I switched to T-mobile Home Internet. I encountered twoissues: 1. The form has a "select HSI number" field with just one number in the options drop-down, I'm forced to select that though I don't know what this is. 2. The form asks for a phone number that T-mobile will use to contact me, I putmy phone# but itkeeps changing my phone number to the HSI number automatically and I'm forced to submit it this way otherwise submission does not proceed. Support doesn't pick up to help me understand and/or fix these and to confirm that my refundwill be processed.6Views0likes0Comments
