Voicemails being "Deposited into text"
Our family recently transferred to T-mobile. We all have iPhone 12 Max. Since transferring to T-Mobile all of our voicemails we receive are also being “deposited” into our texts. I have searched the internet, T-mobile site, and this community trying my. best to find out how to stop this from happening. Does anyone know how to stop this. It is filling up my phone storage!
MICHIGAN & NOT ABLE TO MAKE OR RECEIVE ALL TEXTS AND CALLS
I'm in MICHIGAN. Has anyone else been having problems with T-mobile Network and unable to receive and making phone calls and text messages? Some calls and texts will go through, but then others will fail. I've had several people say they called, but it went directly to voice-mail. I've also had people say they left messages on my voice-mail, but I haven't received them yet. Who should I contact to get fixed? I have an Elderly Mom and it's important for her to be able to contact me. Also for any other emergencies. Thank you for your help! 🫂
visual voicemail no longer shows my messages transcribed inside the app itself.
So I have been trying to figure this one out, i have call in multiple times to where eventually I gave up. I think that the voicemail to text feature is getting mixed up with the voicemails being transcribed in the actual vvm app. I paid for the feature and was still not getting the messages transcribed in the app but would receive the sms text with the transcription in my messages. Before when it was working correctly i had no vm to text subscription or feature on my account and my voicemails would show the option to play back in the vvm app as well as the transcription of the message right below the play icon. I believe the problem lies in the app software because oddly enough i was able to clear app cache and data then uninstalled reinstalled the app and when the app loaded back up and i set it up again i tested it immediately and the vm Did show with the transcription in the vvm app but sadly reverted right back on the very next vm that i received only allowing the play back to listen to message with no transcription showing inside my vvm app. for example in the images i pulled up on google shows the messages transcribed there inside the app. This is what I’m wanting my vvm app to display giving me the option to view, play, delete, save, ect. all in one app, not have to check the transcription inside my text messages app then open vvm up to delete the message or call into the vm to delete from there. Please fix this , this is still a problem and from what ive researched its been going on for a number of years now :(
Dialing 1 to my voicemail suddenly asking for password?
As of this morning when I dial 1, instead of it telling me my voicemails it says "You have reached the voicemail system. If you have an account, press * then put in your 10 digit phone number." Its never been this way before. I called T Mobile support and the guy just said "my advice is this is more secure and this is what we prefer now after an update" This sounds like baloney because nobody I know has to do that and it happened SUDDENLY as of this morning. I check my voicemail like 30x per day, I AM NOT putting in my own phone number every type and going through all that.International Roaming & Rejecting Incoming Calls
If I'm out of the US traveling and someone calls me and I don't answer the call will I be charged? If that person leaves a voicemail and I don't call to check my voicemail would I be charged? If so, if I disable voicemail would it avoid me getting this charge? Or do I have to disable voicemail and remove call forwarding? There seems to be a lot of conflicting information about this. I spoke to a few T-mobile reps and some say I won't get charged and others are saying I will get charged regardless. So I honestly do not know who/what to believe! I had a special voice greeting that I paid to have done and in the newest version of the app there apparently a swipe to delete with no confirmation. I was trying to play it and instead it deleted it when I tapped it! Is there any way to recover this voice mail greeting? Are those saved on the device or the tmobile cloud?
