Hello, I entered Mexico on 2/20/22 on vacation and received my “Welcome to Mexico” automated text message telling me that I have international data. My data worked fine up until mid-day 3/3/22 and it has not worked since (now 3/8/22). I am unable to figure out why this is and I have tried just about everything with the phone including activating a new SIM and putting the SIM into a different phone. Everything posted here on the forums and on Google has not helped as well. Can you please look into this for me and let me know if there is some block on my account or something else going on? Thank you! Nick9.2KViews0likes6CommentsActive duty deployment options?
My brother is often deployed and recently his roaming was blocked because of the usage while on deployment. This violated the roaming terms and conditions of tmobile. It says “this benefit is meant for those traveling abroad, not living abroad for extended periods of time”. Is there any specific plan or add on I can get for his line during deployment without violating the roaming terms? Is there any exemption for International roaming for military overseas?5.3KViews0likes1CommentInternational Roaming & Rejecting Incoming Calls
If I'm out of the US traveling and someone calls me and I don't answer the call will I be charged? If that person leaves a voicemail and I don't call to check my voicemail would I be charged? If so, if I disable voicemail would it avoid me getting this charge? Or do I have to disable voicemail and remove call forwarding? There seems to be a lot of conflicting information about this. I spoke to a few T-mobile reps and some say I won't get charged and others are saying I will get charged regardless. So I honestly do not know who/what to believe! Any tips would be appreciated.5.1KViews1like19CommentsRoaming Violation
I got a text from the number 456, saying that i had been roaming off network which violates some T-Mobile terms and conditions and if i dont stop, my line will be cancelled…. I live in Alaska and I just want to know if this is a scam or if anyone else has had similar issues?4.5KViews0likes20CommentsInternational Roaming Setting
Hi, We are new to T-Mobile and will be International. I have checked the T-Mobile site and all of the locations are covered by our plan (Magenta Plus 55+). My question is what should the setting on our phone be? (We both have Samsung Galaxy phones) I am assuming that we should have Roaming turned on.Solved3.6KViews0likes9CommentsRoaming on or off for International travel with ONE plan
I have the ONE plan and am traveling Internationally, which gives me data and text unlimited. the T-Mobile website says “You may need to turn on or turn off Data Roaming on your device.” Question 1: Under what conditions would I need to turn ON Roaming? Question 2: Under what conditions would I need to turn OFF Roaming? Question 3: What IS roaming? thanks2.9KViews0likes2CommentsInternational Roaming Data being throttle too much
I’m on the Magenta Max 55+ plan. I specifically took it out because I travel a lot and was finding the normal roaming data speed of 128Kbps unusable. Magenta Max+ is supposed to give double this - 256Kbps but I never get this download speed. In the UK my phone connects to either T-Mobile or Vodafone UK depending on location. These speed tests were done with full signal strength bars and LTE showing: T-Mobile down 70 Kbps up 240 Kbps down 80 Kbps up 220 Kbps down 60 Kbps up 230 Kbps Vodafone UK down 110 Kbps up 230 Kbps down 120 Kbps up 250 Kbps and it’s not just the UK. In Ireland over Christmas I got the following speeds: down 80 Kbps up 240 Kbps down 80 Kbps up 230 Kbps I understand about the phone connecting to the networks at a high speed and ‘throttling’ being performed by T-Mobile depending on plan. But my connection seems to be throttled too much and I’m not getting the speed I’m paying for. Can anyone help please?2KViews0likes5CommentsApple Watch SE Standalone - International roaming doesn't work
I’m traveling in one of the T-mobile supported roaming countries (Spain) and while our phones have successfully used the local cell network, our standalone apple watch (not tethered to a device) is unable to go into international roaming mode. I spoke to a T-mobile rep (who was nice, but didn’t seem that knowledgeable) and we hunted for some plan that might allow for international roaming for a standalone but were unable to find one. Oddly, on this page: https://my.t-mobile.com/account/change-plan/plan-comparison there seems to be a Standalone 500Mb plan that DOES support International roaming. I happen to have an Unlimited plan, which I assume would supersede a 500Mb plan. Is there any truth to the 500Mb plan and actual international roaming or is this untrue?1.9KViews1like1CommentUsing Unlocked Iphone 14 pro with prepaid t mobile esim- going to India soon so what international roaming plan i need to activate
