International Roaming Setting
Hi,
We are new to T-Mobile and will be International. I have checked the T-Mobile site and all of the locations are covered by our plan (Magenta Plus 55+).
My question is what should the setting on our phone be? (We both have Samsung Galaxy phones)
I am assuming that we should have Roaming turned on.
I checked the T-Mobile Profile for each line. There is a setting for:
Block Charged International Roaming ON
and
Block International Roaming (including Charged International Roaming) OFF
Since our plan includes International in 215 countries, I am assuming the setting should be as above.
Thanks

Yes. Roaming needs to be turned on in your device settings. You might also want to check with Customer Care to ensure roaming is enabled for your account. You can do that by calling 611 or by reaching out to T-Mobile through DM on Facebook or Twitter.

I spoke with a T-mobile agent today, and he said don’t worry about those settings. When roaming, the phone will only connect to a T-mobile partner network.

NO. You will have native T-Mobile service in PR.
