I am one of those who still have the legacy Pay As You Go. It is not my primary number but I keep it since I like the number. So, I almost never use it. I keep about $10 in it. Today I was trying to make a phone call and it said I did not have enough money. I checked my account and it was at 0 balance. If I look under Line Details → View Your Usage, it says “No records found.” I left the Billing Cycle filter out. However, at one point, I got to the Transaction History screen (can’t find my way back now), it had a bunch of “DomesticUsage”, Outgoing, Usage Type: Message charges. It seems they are on random days and most were 0.10. The online rep: said that this meant I sent texts on those days said they did not keep records on which numbers the texts were sent to would not believe me when I told her I did not tried to sell me a monthly plan 😂 It seems others might have this problem too: https://www.reddit.com/r/tmobile/comments/158dw8l/my_mom_has_a_legacy_payasyougo_prepaid_plan_but/ and I have had an episode with them a few years ago that made me not trust their billing system. I ended up asking the Rep to disable incoming and outgoing texts and put more money in. Beware!568Views0likes2CommentsCan old physycial SIM still be used after switch to ESIM ?
Hello, I had a phsycial SIM in my old pixel 4 and bought a pixel 8 a couple months ago. It gave me the option to transfer the SIM as an ESIM to the new pixel 8. I have a prepaid 10 GB plan for $40. Today I recycled some of my old phones and I don’t know if that old physical SIM was still in the phone. So could someone technically use that one to connect to my network or account ? I did wipe all the data from the phone and I think it was off for at least 6 months. I also have the sim swap protection enabled now and that port out option or whatever it is called. I remember when the switch happend the old phone did not have any network connection. Just wondering if I need to do something here for protection.Solved484Views0likes1CommentIs there a way to retrieve my prepaid balance?
Hello folks I ordered something that seems to be plan refill before I get a new sim card. And all the agents I’ve met say they can’t technically help me find my old balance. I finally got connected to a prepaid department person, but she couldn’t help. Is there a solution?Solved209Views0likes1CommentPrepaid Unlimited Data 75$/months --> 2 lines = 2 sim cards
I e.g. we (my fiance and me) are interested in a Prepaid deal, that we can use during our 32 days in LA, Hawaii and San Francisco: Especially this deal: https://prepaid.t-mobile.com/prepaid-plans?brand=TMOPrepaid I claims “save with 2 lines” Unlimited Promo, $75/mo. for 2 line + taxes & fees Includes: Unlimited talk and text Unlimited 5G data Up to 3GB of domestic high-speed mobile hotspot data Texting to 215+ destinations while in U.S., Mexico & Canada My question: DOES this 2-LINES-option INCLUDE 2 physical SIM CARDS, so that we can both use the contract with 2 smartphones and 2 phone numbers and both have access to the same data package??? If not, what is the best option in order to get 2 sim cards and about 10-20GB each?913Views0likes3CommentsTravelling to USA from EU prepaid esim card
Hi! Im travelling to Florida from EU in a couple of weeks. And I was wondering if I can buy a prepaid eSIM in the T-mobile app and have it work on my phone? Can you pick a time and date when you want it to activate? Or do I have to do everything once im at the airport? Thanks!Solved308Views0likes4CommentsPrepaid top up with Irish card not accepted, but a random list of countries are accepted?
Hi, in the past I was able to use my Irish credit/debit cards to top up my T-Mobile prepaid account. This seems to have disappeared, and now there is a random list of countries whose cards are accepted for payment. My country, Ireland, is not on this list, although other Eurozone countries (Finland, France, Germany, Italy) are. Does anyone know why this changed, and is there any way for me top up using one of my own Irish cards, rather than asking a friend in one of the accepted countries to top up for me? Thanks in advance.131Views1like0CommentsLine cant't be added to this account

I have two-factor authentication (TFA/MFA) set up with an authentication app for my prepaid account. I just got a new phone and am trying to find how to switch the codes over to it, but I cannot find where to make the change. I can’t remember how I set 2FA up previously, as it was several years ago. Does anyone know how to do this?795Views0likes3CommentsCard number is invalid. Please try again.
How do I refill my prepaid number when my credit cards won’t work. I only get “ Card number is invalid. Please try again. “. I already tried 2 Visa cards and tried Edge, Firefox and Chrome browsers but they don’t work. I don’t want to use IVR or cash because the customer support will charge me $5. Buying a refill card is also too much because the minimum is $40 but I only need $15.Solved2.2KViews0likes12Comments
