Home Internet Gaming
I have had Home Internet for about a year and I have been able to use it for both work and gaming. However, within the last few weeks, I received a “internet required to connect to servers” error when playing on GTA V, Red Dead Redemption, ARK or any other game with online features. I have changed gateways and even replaced one without any luck. I have already reached out to Sony and one of the game’s helpdesks and they both state that it is an internet provider issue. T-Mobile doesn't have any support for gamers according to one of their reps so I am frustratingly out of options. Any additional help is greatly appreciated. I am looking for other internet providers in the meantime.
PS5 internet connection issues
I recently switched my wifi from optimum to the Tmobile 5g Gateway. It connects to my phone and laptop and works wonderful but it won’t seem to connect to my playstation no matter what I do. Ive tried switching the WPA version, the frequency band, both the network name and password and It refuses to connect to my system. What should I do app ???
Nintendo Switch w/NOK 5G21 Gateway
I was thrilled to change from my previous provider to T-Mobile’s internet. The speed is great. The service has been super reliable. Where I’m having trouble is on my Nintendo Switch. I can’t getvisitors on my island on Animal Crossing. I can’t race against friends on Mario Kart. Virtually all online gaming functionality is useless. And I’m frustrated I haven’t been able to find a solution. I called support and they basically said there’s nothing they can do. Has anyone found any solution to this?!
Roblox and T-Mobile Home Internet
Hi! So, I have a new issue (started on April 15th). Prior to April 15th, we were able to get into Roblox no problem using our T-Mobile Home Internet. All of a sudden, on the 15th, we can no longer access it. We get an SSL validation error. The weird thing is, we can access it if I use my T-Mobile phone as a wifi Hotspot (using either T-Mobile cell service or the T-Mobile Home Internet service through my phone.) Also, we can access Roblox via T-Mobile Home Internet but only if we use a VPN. Anyone have any idea why this would be happening? Were there updates to the T-Mobile Home Internet gateway that caused this? Any ideas would be fantastic because I am stumped!
Home Internet Gaming Problem
I recently started testdriving T-Mobile home internet at my house, and it's worked great for everything except games, where I'm having a weird issue with some of them. When I try to play Apex Legends on PC, the game will connect and play really smooth for anywhere from 1-3minutes, and then all communication will be lost, which will take 20 seconds for the game to kick me out to the main menu. If I go back into the game from the main menu, it'll work fine untill the 1-3minutes elapses. During all of this my PC never loses connection, and this issue occurs over wifi and ethernet. This issue probably does not lie with the game as this issue does not occur with other ISPs, and it did not coincide with an update. A similar issue is happening with Splatoon 3 on the Nintendo Switch, where the game will play superb for 30 seconds to 2 minutes before dropping the connection. Is this a known issue with the service or gateway, is there anyway I can debug my connection, and does anyone know anyway that could possibly remedy the situation? I'd love to keep the home internet, but one of the main things I use the internet for is games, meaning this service wouldn't work for me.
Xbox Gaming Connection Skipping
I recently set up the brand new white tower 5g home internet device. I was playing Call of Duty online and I noticed that randomly everyone would skip for a split second and it keeps happening throughout the game. My ping stays the same which is odd. My average download speed is around 300 and upload around 7-9. I checked to make sure the game servers were not having any issues which they weren’t. Any suggestions as to what is going on? Is this common?
World of tanks not working
World of Tanks does not connect and I have tried everything from uninstalling the game/reinstalling, uninstall norton360 and reinstall, uninstall nvidia drivers and reinstall. It plain will not connect at all.. World of warships works though. Weird. Help!!! I have the gateway connected a EERO mesh network. I reset the network too. No help there. last resort is unplug the gateway and boot cold but I doubt that will work too. Solutions anyone? Ed
