I’m having issues getting a rebate from T-mobile on the AirPod Promotion. When I go into the rebate site https://promotions.t-mobile.com/ my phone number is auto-populated and then it requires Promotion Code. I’ve never received a promotion code. What is this promotion code and is it unique to my purchase. I have called customer service and they basically seem like they don’t know what I’m talking about. This is quite frustrating and I’d like to get my rebate visa.25KViews2likes33CommentsCan I upgrade my phone even if I'm under someone elses plan?
I’m currently under my father’s plan but I want to upgrade my phone. I can’t pay off the phone in full as of yet but I want to make monthly payments for the phone. Is there a way for me to have my credit card information saved under my dad’s account so that t-mobile will only charge my card for the monthly payments?10KViews0likes1CommentTrade-in offer costed me more?
To provide you with some background, I dont trade in my phone unless it’s like an insane deal. I saw a deal on May 8, 2021 that looked something like this: T-Mobile is offering their iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro or iPhone 12 Pro Max with Up To $830 Off (via 24 Monthly Bill Credits) with a Qualifying Device Trade-In. Available Phones (prices before applicable trade-ins or bill credits): Apple iPhone 12 mini from $729.99 Apple iPhone 12 from $829.99 Apple iPhone 12 Pro from $999.99 Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max from $1099.99 Eligible Device Trade-in Value (must be in good condition): Get up to $830 off: Apple: iPhone 11, XS, XR, X, 8 I was had and iPhone 11 at the time and saw that I pretty much… don’t have to pay like anything other than possibly activation and what not. That same day, I went to the Tmobile store downstairs from me and spoke w/ sales rep and I asked him at the start, do I have to pay anything today or over the next few months? and he said “you don’t have to pay anything with this trade-in”. I was like… this is awesome, I’m about to walk out with a 1:1 trade-in. So after ringing everything up at the register, the I offered to pay ANYTHING that same day and the rep said I didn’t have any outstanding charges and even said that I could get a new case with it. I have my new phone now and I didn’t even have to pay a thing. First bill that came after was $8.54 more. Then the next and the next and all the bills after. The only difference I see on the bill? Under “Equipment” it says I received T574 2021 Apple Trade P6 of $26.05. These numbers and codes are gibberish to the average consumer and where are these numbers even coming from? I contacted support after a couple months after realizing this will be reoccuring for god knows how long… I attached the customer support’s response when I asked them to clarify the charges: WHERE ARE THESE NUMBERS COMING FROM? The receipt I received said NOTHING about any of these. I fail to comprehend what this customer support is trying to explain. Nothing about these things were written anywhere a customer could see. I understood that I would have possibly received monthly credits but I also had offered to pay upfront any future charges. EITHER WAY, $830 trade-in credit? Nope. According to this customer rep, I owe a lot more and the reoccuring +$8.54 lasts for 24-months. This is absurd. Please correct me if I am interpreting the deal in error. Even if the deal was executed in this way, the sales rep shouldn’t have denied any additional charges and could have at least explained these things to me when I had asked????????5.5KViews0likes5Commentsis there a transfer fee
I bought an unlocked phone off of Amazon, cause it was the cheapest. I’m currently on my mothers plan and worried that there will be more expense, and a transfer fee (my current phone the one I’m using to type on this is fully paid off.) cause I wish to transfer this phone number and stuff to the new phone when it gets here? second question, I got a Apple Watch that I’m still paying for currently I’m 17 turning 18 in June, could I transfer the Apple Watch to my own plan?5.2KViews0likes4CommentsBilled for a phone that was aupposed to be a free phone!!!
How many of you get promised by T-Mobile rubs that you were getting a free phone and then get charge for it on your bill? I was promised a free phone a year ago if I would add another line and every month I have been charged for the free phone. It’s so frustrating for dishonest sales people to say one thing and then your bill come out charging for a “free”device. Reps need to be held more accountable as we the customers have to end up paying the bills for their sales tactics!!! I call T-Mobile customer service and get nothing but you signed a contract as an excuse for being charged fir a phone we were told was free. And it does not take off the charge anywhere on the bill. I’m still paying monthly on a free phone that doesn’t even work well!!!4.5KViews10likes9CommentsRebate keeps getting denied repeatedly (everyday)
Hello everyone, My problem is simple yet extremely annoying and it seems like the T mobile customer support is helpless. I switched to T mobile two months or so ago and they had a promotion of “bring your line/phone, and get $200 off per line” (upto 4 lines per account). I ported 7 lines and applied for the rebate on 4 of the lines (as stated by the promotion). After 6-8 weeks I check the status and it says “Denied” with “no eligible/Port in found”. So I called the customer support and after an hour or so of verification, the lady manually approves all the rebates. She told me that I will get a text for a virtual mastercard/visa so I should keep checking for the status. At that point I was relieved and thought it was all done. The very next day I check the rebate status page and it says denied again with the same exact reason. So I called again, went through the same 1 hour of verification and the person manually approves everything and tells me to keep checking. So all good and i thought it was done. The very next day I checked the rebate status and guess what ? Denied again.. called again - wasted 1 hour again and got it approved - the very next day denied again.. I have called 8 times on 8 separate days and I keep running into the same issue no matter what - Now i am extremely frustrated and I don’t want to call again unless I know I can find someone who can help me. Can anyone help me or suggest a solution ? PS: I just dealt with a lost phone during the shipping process on another line (separate) than these and that almost took me 1.5 months to fix. At this point I am almost regretting the switch.3KViews8likes11Commentsprepaid cancellation refund
i have over $190 remaining in my pre-paid acct. & the money simply disappeared afterwards. I’d have no issue using the remaining toward a purchase of device or some sort, but it just simply disappeared. This term non-refundable term is a complete scam. The nob-refundable amount should be limited within the billing cycle or 60 days of the cancellation. what if the customer had emergency & had to cancel the service when there is a large amount in the acct?Solved2.6KViews0likes18Comments
