customer complaint
22 TopicsAnyone else experienced a PAID line being added to their account without your authorization, and then had issues with T-Mobile when trying to remove the added line and get a refund?
Upgraded and bought a new iPhone in a T-Mobile store on 04/22/2022 - I am unfortanely just now noticing after reviewing my yearly reports for tax season approaching, that there was a data line added to my services/bill on the same day, for an apple watch?! The charge was insignificant in cost enough for me to never notice too much of a difference, and the sales representative in the store explained to me the new bill amount and an increase being due to the monthly amount I would be charged for the iPhone payment plan option to pay month for a phone instead of paying in full. I am now trying to have the line removed but the customer service dept. has only tried to tell me I am wrong and that I activated this on my own MONTHS prior to 4/22/22, which is so far from true. I have only ever used my apple watch on wifi/connected to my phone via bluetooth. After reviewing my usuage overview for 2022, each month shows the additional line and every month has 0.00GB of data used. I found this information through my t-mobile account but yet the customer service reps I’ve spoken to (which has been several now) all seem incompentent and unable to find similar information to show that this change was unauthorized. In addition, the representatives only focus seems to be on conversion or a new sale, rather than doing actual customer service. What happens to customer service??? Anyone had similar experiences? What did you have to do to get T-Mobile to cooperate and help? Do I need to file claim with the Better Business Bureau you think? Anyone filed with the BBB before, and if so, did you have any good results from it? I just want a line removed and something credited to my account for the near year I have paid for a service I never signed up for or authorized, and it seems impossible.1.2KViews0likes10CommentsBilled for a phone that was aupposed to be a free phone!!!
How many of you get promised by T-Mobile rubs that you were getting a free phone and then get charge for it on your bill? I was promised a free phone a year ago if I would add another line and every month I have been charged for the free phone. It’s so frustrating for dishonest sales people to say one thing and then your bill come out charging for a “free”device. Reps need to be held more accountable as we the customers have to end up paying the bills for theirsales tactics!!! I call T-Mobile customer service and get nothing but you signed a contract as an excuse for being charged fir a phone we were told was free. And it does not take off the charge anywhere on the bill. I’m still paying monthlyon a free phone that doesn’t even work well!!!3.9KViews9likes9CommentsWhat is up with charging for customer service? And why is the customer service not as acceptable as before?
I have been with t-mobile for 20 years . . . that’s right 20 years. May end very soon. I should not be paying this much per month and having to pay to speak to someone. Today, I have been trying to get something resolved in chat today . . . 1 hr 40 minutes in with no solution, and am on my second rep. The chat window keeps malfunctioning, and when I call 611, i just get payment options and no option to speak with someone. I was just told to go in through the app to schedule a call, which should be available from my PC. I can’t even do that because I am not getting the 6 digit code to log in. I can’t login, because I am not receiving the 6 digit codes. I would like to complain, but I can’t even find a place to do that. None of the subforums apply to customer service issues.Solved124Views0likes1CommentTmobile not delivering waht was promised when I signed up for the account
I need to contact a complaints department who can resolve the issue with my T Mobile business account. I am tired to call them every month to ask to give the credit that was promised but not applied to my account. Please advise. Thank You!78Views0likes2CommentsCustomer
I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the customer service I received during my recent transition from Verizon to T-Mobile. Unfortunately, my experience was profoundly negative and warrants your immediate attention. During the account transfer process, T-Mobile repeatedly made errors with both my name and address. I have spent a total of 26 hours on the phone with various representatives attempting to resolve these issues. To my dismay, one of the representatives, in particular, made an inappropriate and offensive remark, This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable and has significantly impacted my perception of your company. Given these circumstances, I am compelled to discontinue any further business with T-Mobile. I request that you address this issue with the seriousness it deserves to prevent similar experiences for other customers in the future.68Views0likes1CommentReally Bad Customer Service

T-Mobile Scam I migrated from Xfinity along with my 4 friends on 9-Mar through an online agent. The conversations where so smooth until the order was procured. He even had me buy a new iPhone 15 pro with wring promises of $830 off and $250 of trade-in value. I traded my iPhone 13 Pro 256GB which was in mint condition. But then started my long suffering journey with T-Mobile. The 20 calls I made to get the trade-in money never was successful. Forget the $830 off. T-Mobile still did not pay for my old phone. They accept that the phone is received at their end but never refunded. When it comes to $830 off, they now say that the offer doesn’t exist. T-Mobile is scam. I will never go for T-Mobile. In December, I was made an offer to switch mobile operators. They offered to refund me the amount I paid for my phones with that operator. After that, they sent me the SIM cards and the phones, but it wasn't until January when they activated them. Additionally, I took an iPad without confirming that I would keep it. As of today, they have NOT refunded me the money. The agent handling my case says that there was an "error" when activating the lines and they cannot refund me. In addition to that, |TMobile charged me from December to January WITHOUT ACTIVATING the lines, and they have also NOT provided instructions for returning the iPad. And keep charging it into my bill. Nobody is taking responsibility for my case. My advisor is not responding to my calls, and call me on each15 days, and the person who activated the lines late is washing their hands of it, as well. My switch to T-Mobile has been a nightmare, and it seems like they don't want to honor an offer they made to me on December. The conditions regarding the erroneous activation are the responsibility of T-Mobile and its agents, not mine. I have everything in writing. I´m paying more that offered, they can not honored the offer made, and can not received the IPAD back (new, on this box) to keep charging my bill for it?. How can help me on that?47Views0likes0CommentsWhy do multiple 100 MB data usages show up on my Connect by T-Mobile account?
Having afrustratingproblem with my Connect by T-Mobile phone plan. During the past week like clockwork, I am showing a data usage of100 MB multiple times per day, which uses up my 3.5 GB of data very quickly. I have the bare minimum of apps onthe phone and don’t update most of the Google apps. I don’t stream videos and only do some basic web browsing. T-Mobile customer support could only recommend turning my mobile dataoffwhen not using the phone. Gave no explanation for the 100 MB data entries. Anyone have an idea on what might be causing this?
