why is the internet down?

@MikeGebhard, a few questions first to understand your setup.
Do you have a wifi router that is attached to your TM gateway, or do devices connect directly to your gateway?
If they attach directly to your gateway, do you see your SSID (my home internet) wifi network on your devices like phones, tablets and TVs?
You should be able to configure your gateway and then restart it and then go to your devices and see your gateway network/SSID name to connect.
As for your last question, you can always call the TM customer support line at 1-800-937-8997.
I was thinking about adding home Internet to my phone service. I’ve had frontier (DSL) for years $29 but apparently they are no longer offering service. All I need Internet for is my iPad and don’t want to get caught up in all this nonsense and problems I’ve been seeing and reading about. Any suggestions
