Voicemail problem since Nov 23, 2024
My visual voicemail stopped working 11/23/24, so I called Tmobile and they fixed it, but in doing so deleted all my old voice messages including those from my mother who died in February2024.
I know these voicemails are on the Tmobile server, but 4 phone calls and 2 emails to tech experts telling me they cannot retrieve them is not what I want to hear.
Any advice? I have a Samsung 23 5G phone and all software up to date. Tmobile struggles with their voicemail in general. I have been with them > 20 years. I did save all my voicemails, but did not back up to another source.

Once a voicemail inbox is reset, those voicemails are gone for good. In the future, save your voicemails from within the VVM app to your phone so you have a backup of them.

Very sorry to hear about the vms, esp with the brother - but bumping here for visibility.
Having a similar issue - called, did the tech thing, they ran a bunch of text forwarding and VM codes (without telling me what they did) - seemed to fix the issue.
Before that, I dialed 1 to connect to voicemail, and it called out somewhere else - literally another state... same issues still occurring.
Mainly, bumping for vis - hope someone from tmobile can solve, troubleshoot or take a look, or recover those VMs for you at the very least...
