my Internet

So when I turn on my t-mobile interent modem it comes on and shows 4g lte like full bars then switches to 5g and has only one bar. Then has no signal. How can i make stay in 4g lte signal? Where i have coverage?

    It sounds like the gateway may just be defective. I suggest you contact support and request a replacement. You cannot make the 5G gateway only work on the 4G LTE band. If you want only 4G LTE T-Mobile does still have the 4G LTE gateways. Some users with very poor 5G but reliable 4G LTE do take that approach. Contact support or go to a local TMO store and request a replacement.

    If you have a 5G capable phone and can confirm the operation of 5G in your area with reasonable strength of signal it is probably just a problem with that gateway.
