Home Internet solution for IPV4, no internet
After losing and restoring power on the Sagemcom 5688 Gateway, I'm left with an internet issue. T-Mobile couldn't identify or clear the issue, so after multiple reboots, they were going to send me a new Gateway. On my computer I could get a few sites to load, that were using IPv6, but most failed. On my Windows 10 computer, I right-clicked my network adapter to open Network & Internet settings, clicked Change adapter options, the right-clicked the adapter, then clicked status. It showed IPv4 Connectivity=NO INTERNET IPv6 Connectivity=INTERNET.
I'm using both ethernet ports on the Gateway, One to a MESH Router and the other to an ethernet switch. I've found if I remove both ports before rebooting, the Internet IPv4 issue is resolved and didn't even have to reboot the MESH routers upon re-connecting the ethernet cords. It's probably MESH router being plugged-in, and not the switch that causes the Gateway to malfunction.
