Common theme?

Great service and speeds for the beginning of membership, then unreliable connection and speeds become the norm? Seems like I read a lot of people have this experience with the home internet. I had this issue, and today switched back to the incumbent isp in my area. They have terrible customer service, but at least I get consistent mediocre speeds.
