Military Member Stationed in Japan — No Service Without WiFi (Need Urgent Help)

I’m currently stationed in Japan and I’m having serious issues with my T-Mobile service. It worked fine the first day I arrived, but since then, I’ve had no cellular service unless I’m connected to WiFi.

I purchased the International Pass and I’m on the Magenta Max Military plan with premium data and hotspot included, but nothing seems to be working. I have an Iphone 13 Pro Max I’ve called T-Mobile support every day for the past 5 days and gone through every troubleshooting step they’ve suggested, but I still can’t get any connection without WiFi. They have not offered any other suggestions or solutions.

I need my phone for my job and this has become a major problem. Has anyone else experienced this while stationed overseas? Any advice or workarounds that helped you get your phone working again?

I’d really appreciate any help or suggestions. Thank you in advance!

If you've called T-Mobile five times and they can't resolve the problem, I doubt that anyone here (we don't have access to your account) can do any more. Your iPhone should have all the bands you need and your plan worked at first. All I can think of is that you are in a region where the carriers don't use the same bands as you had the first day. What carrier signals can you see? Are you calling T-Mobile's international help desk? (+1-505-998-3793).
