About to start a trip to Japan and Hong Kong, so wondering if the free international roaming for these countries is fast enough to support working remotely, e.g. accessing VPN?
Depending on your plan, there might be some data roaming included. However, VPN data is almost always throttled by T-Mobile. Even with an International Pass data can be used up quickly. Using 2G/3G speeds for things today is pretty much impossible unless you are just going to be sending and receiving the rare few lines of text only e-mail.
