Activating a New iPhone Overseas

My son’s phone was stolen while he was studying abroad in Italy.  We deactivated his line and filed a claim for a replacement iPhone 14 which we FedEx’d him.  How do we reactivate the line on his new iPhone?

    You may want to get another Sim card assigned to his number, put it in another phone and activate it then send the Sim card to him.

    Unfortunately Tmobile sims need to be activated on Tmobile towers.
