$280 bill for international call
I've been a T-Mobile customer for seven years, but I just received a bill for over $280 due to an accidental call to Belgium. I intended to make the call through WhatsApp, but somehow, it went through as a regular international call and lasted over 80 minutes.
I reached out to T-Mobile support, but they told me there's nothing they can do since the window to dispute the charge (which was three days ago) has already passed. After seven years as a loyal customer, it’s frustrating to face this kind of response, and I may have to switch to another provider.
Has anyone dealt with a similar situation or know if there’s anything I can do to resolve this?

WhatsApp has the ability to hand a call off to cellular without any warning or notification. WhatsApp can even re-enable cellular when your device is in Airplane Mode. There is no way to turn this off. Once a call is handed off to cellular, the call becomes billable by the rates associated with your plan for that call. WhatsApp refuses to offer users the choice to disable this feature and ignores support requests related to this.

I've been told that this sometimes happens with Whatsapp but many people vehemently disagree, saying it's not possible. I don't use Whatsapp, so I don't know.
