TMO-4GSE stuck in 4G

I live 1000 ft (300 meters) from our local T-Mobile 4G tower, and our 5G tower is about 200ft further away.

My white box internet gateway (TMO-4GSE) connects to the 4G tower 99% of the time, limiting my bandwidth.

I can only get it to connect to the 5G tower by default one in 20 boots directly in my window. As soon as I move the device I can almost never get it to connect to 5G over the 4G.

This is a BASIC flaw in the device and T-Life app... I NEED the ability to set preference for the device to TRY and get the 5G connection to work.

I totally get the device LOVES my 4G tower. Let me tell it to use the 5G tower. 

Else I'm stuck all the time in 4G bandwidth.

Please acknowledge this is a feature request for future home internet gateway devices and T-Life app control.

    The TMobile g4SE has had some defects.  While i can't say if this is a defect in your model (trade for g4ar), when you do actually get 5g, post the advanced support metrics.   I did have a g4ar where 4g LTE disappeared.   I went to TMobile and exchanged.   Now inhabe 4G LTE +5g.  Speeds.between 850 and 1000Mbps.
