T-mobile 5G router issue with connecting to Datagrip for work. Tmobile hotspot through phone works fine.

I’m working from home. i cannot connect to datagrip when on regular wfifi which is 5g router. 

however, if i turn on hot spot on my phone and use that., i can connect just fine.

all other applications / connections work just fine on wifi .

any ideas ?!
