Quanta 5g hotspot keeps disconnecting from internet and won't reconnect

My Quanta 5g mobile hotspot works fine when cell phones are connected. But as soon as I connect my laptop, the hotspot itself disconnects from the internet after a minute or so and then won’t reconnect at all, even going on to the mobile hotspot site and hitting reconnect, it will take a few minutes then just say error and it won’t connect back. Restarting the device makes it work but just for phones, as soon as the laptop connects it disconnects. So I don’t understand why it won’t reconnect and why it keeps disconnecting and why it won’t reconnect.
