T Mobile sent out a press release a few days ago that the rolled oy 5G-SA (Standalone) nationwide. This is a pretty massive change from the 5G/LTE network that they had been using, and the routers needed firmware updates. It could be that these updates created unexpected problems with some hardware. For me, the transition was smooth. But if you had issues, I would consider going to the T-Mobile store and see if you can change your router out for another (newer) router.
