literally JUST got this device today, can't use discord/reddit/twitch at all??
so i literally just got this device and hooked it up and i got it connected to my TV, xbox and laptop.. that's all.. and i tried to open discord, but it is forever retrying to update.... i try to con...
I don't have any issues with Twitch or Doscord. I mod for a few streamers and usually have Discord running at the same time as Twitch without issue. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling Discord? Are you able to load Discord in a browser window versus the program?
no i haven't tried uninstalling and reinstalling discord, but also no, it cannot load in a browser window on my laptop. i can load all the sites and stuff perfectly fine on my phone connected to this wifi, but it does not work on my laptop at all. only a few sites can load (tmobile, facebook, google/gmail, amazon.. probably some others but these are the few that i've been able to try and so are in my recent memory) but yeah, glad you can run them on your end, it does not work for me and clearly based on the comments several other people are having this same kind of issue as me.. i really need twitch and discord to load as i am a streamer and i literally got this new internet in part to improve my connection so i can hopefully have better streams.... i'm going to try to do an ethernet connection to see if that fixes it because i saw some people say that worked for them, but even if it doesn't i've been meaning to try getting ethernet eventually one day so why not try today??
Have you checked the WiFi and network settings in the T-Life app to make sure some sort of parental controls aren't enabled? Have you checked the firewall on your laptop to make sure that isn't blocking these sites?
