Unfortunately, this is how cellular based internet works. Towers relay your connection across many towers to find the best way to reach a ground infrastructure connection. This is where your IP address and location are assigned. Sometimes, this can be in the neighboring state or even a few states away in some cases. A VPN service will help you obtain a more local to your location IP address.
