My 5G HI gets slow, then speeds up after reset

I'd recommend to 'start' with a replacement, however, I'm doubtful that this will permanently fix the issue. I've had similar issues when using VPN (worse, actually) and items such as Zoom.
Typical speed was +800Mbps hitting upto 1Gbps. Using VPN drops down to < 6Mbps. When I switched over to Spectrum (kept in parallel for testing). I had a 100/10 connection, speed test gave 100Mbps w/o VPN, and 100Mbps with VPN. Replacement gateways worked 'for a while' until patch level caught up to current. These all started after October 2024 when T-Mobile started pushing firmware updates. I had to cancel TMHI service after +5 gateway exchanges.
