Poor coverage
zip 97023 : coverage map shows 5g ultra at our address. Reality is: sometimes no signal, but usually 1 bar and occasionally 2bar of 4g. Using iphone 14pro purchased thru T mobile.
Sometimes calls drop or incoming calls go to message instead of ringing, and sometimes texts don’t send. We have talked with t mobile several times with no improvement. Twice call has dropped while talking to them.
I am disappointed and frustrated. I sure wouldn’t have switched to t mobile if coverage map had shown true coverage. Time to file a consumer complaint?

Yes, the phones show 5g elsewhere (but the coverage map shows it is not everywhere). I think that I can consistently get a 5g signal 1000’ away but I haven’t tried recently
Tmobile said they created a ticket a month or so ago but nothing has changed. I’d guess someone checked at the tower and pronounced everything fine. Maybe trying twitter or facebook contact is a good idea.

does it improve once you are in a different area? you will need to contact TMO either by calling in or through one of their social media platforms like Facebook or Twitter and have them file a network ticket for you. if both phones have issues at the home area for example but it pulls in 5G everywhere else then its pointing at the tower youre connecting to at home...the network ticket will force them to send someone out (or contact the tower owner and have them send someone out) to test.

Like I said iphone 14pro purchased thru tmobile. My wife has identical phone and the same problems.
My phone shows 5g coverage at times in other locations. But I am usually here, and we are supposed to have 5g ultra

what phone do you have? was it purchased from TMO or purchased elsewhere and brought to TMO? are there any other devices on your account? and if so are they seeing the same thing or no? is this only happening at one specific location or everywhere you go in town?
