Is T-Mobile Cellspot compatible with T-Mobile Wifi

I recently started my internet service with T-Mobile.  I called tech support and was told that their Wi-Fi internet service is not compatible with their cellspot?  I tried hooking it up and power is blinking green, internet is solid green, status is solid amber.  I can’t believe that their products are incompatible!!!  Has anyone tried to use their cellspot with T-Mobile Wifi?  I guess I will let it sit on Status solid amber for a few days and see if it will move forward…
