over payed

On April 11th I set a payment arrangement for 598.00 to paid on april 15th.

I paid 300.00 dollars towards the 598.00 thinking on the 15th tmobile would take the balance.

They took the full amount of 598.00. so i paid a total of 898.00. I couldnt afford to do that and got a refund for the 300.00. Now I owe 536.00 and the system wont let me set up an arrangement.

The system states i owe 300.00 dollars. The tmobile reps are saying because i have a past due amount of 300.00 and its past30 days there's nothing they can do. The arrangement was satified in the full amount of 598.00.

Someone please help. I have been a costumer for over 15years

All billing related issues need to be addressed with Customer Care.  There are late payment and interest charges on overdue balances that might be contributing to the balance owed.  Gramps mentioned some great tips!

In the payment arrangement making that early payment is a big don't .

Failure to meet the payment arrangement criteria may result in a failed payment arrangement and possible service suspension.

    • Make sure your first installment and each installment after are paid by the specified due date.
    • Pay all new bills that become due during the arrangement by the due date.

    Don't

    • Once set up, don't attempt to change, extend, or delete a payment arrangement if a past due balance still exists on the account.
    • Don't make payment(s) early or with an alternate method if your payment arrangement is set up with a Future Dated Payment. This may cause your payment not to be recognized by the system as fulfilling your arrangement, and they may cause duplicate payments, overpayments, added fees, and possible suspension of service.
