Upgraded to iPhone 15, now texts are intermittently turning green and not sending.

Upgraded from 12 to 15 on Christmas. Now, and only for my wife’s messages, the iMessages are randomly turning green and she doesn’t receive my messages. Everything she sends me on her phone shows the blue iMessage but I’m struggling. Nothing changed I just transferred everything to the new phone, no duplicate contacts. I’ve noticed my notifications are coming in as a group text to me and her Apple ID email address. I’m not sure what to do I’ve deleted the contacts and re-entered it, restarted both phones, followed countless steps online and I’m at a loss. Any ideas?

Is your Apple ID set to the correct device?  If iMessage still thinks you are using the old device.  That can cause issues.  Have you put your SIM from the old device or transfered your eSIM to the new device?  Have you tried sending the text as an SMS to see if that works?

Apple ID is set to my new phone, old one was wiped and sent into T-Mobile. Sim is out of old device and new one is using eSIM. The SMS is hit or miss sometimes it sends sometimes it doesn’t when it’s sms and green

Is your iOS and iMessage up to date?  If it isn't up to date, that can sometimes cause issues with sending and receiving texts.
