Unlock Phone
I have paid off this phone and was an existing customer. I ended up switching providers as I have moved, but wanted to give the phone to a family member. I had originally went through the self service unlock and it everything went good, but as of now the phone still says it is locked to T-Mobile, what can I do to solve this?

Have you even read the thread, specifically the two posts after the original post that you copied and pasted?

If you're account was in good standing when you left you should be able to contact Tmobile to get it unlocked. If you left with owing money the phone may be blocked.

To be eligible for a SIM unlock from T-Mobile. You must currently be a customer and your device and account must meet all of the SIM Unlock Policy requirements.
