This was happening to me, and for me, what solved it was turning off my VPN

"I got that today (after a visual voicemail update?) and only had to turn off WiFi & WiFi calling while activating visual voicemail. After activation I was able to turn the WiFi back on and everything worked normally again."
The above solution by cindyquilted, circa 2024-12-06, is what SOLVED IT FOR ME. And BTW, the phone did not have a VPN installed at the time.
Imagine if T-mobile actually tested their app updates on a variety of OS versions before rolling them out. Oh wait, that makes no sense, right? 🤬
