they use my phone number to call scame ?? how ??
Unknown company used my phone number to call scam , please tell me how to stop them. You are phone company , do you can stop them ?

thats why most numbers calling you now days that are scammers are using the same area code as you are in..spoofed numbers so theres a better chance you’ll answer since its a local or semi local number.
Like @fireguy_6364 says, at one time you could pretty much count on caller ID. These day’s it’s just a suggestion. The system was designed without much security, Spammers just pick numbers at random to spoof.
its called spoofing..and no..they can pretty much mimic any numbers they choose.
