Really Upset with T-Mobile
T-Mobile stores sometimes have an employee who is honest. Most employees are there to get a Commission or something else. They will offer you everything under the Sink that you do not need or wanted. The Prices are High also. Generally best method is to work out a solution Online at T-Mobile website trying to figure out all the goods or what you want to buy. Also you can call T-Mobile Customer Service for assistance.
Always look for the Promotions but Beware of the Fine Print as most require a Phone Trade-In and 24 Monthly Payments. Free is not Free. You have to make the required number of Payments. If you cancel on the 23rd month, T-Mobile will charge you the Full Price dating back to the day you purchased it. The BOGO Free or Half-Off only applies when you completed 24 months "2 years" of payment on the plan. Other Promotional Items like a Tablet or Watch have the same amendment or requirement that you make 24 months of payment on your Plan. Otherwise you have to pay MSRP "retail" price of the item.
Do not fall for the Warranty, unless you are clumsy and careless with fragile items. The Warranty over 2 years is more than T-Mobile will give you on Trade-In value. For example, purchase a Samsung S24 Plus for $900 in 2024 and want to trade in for new Samsung S25 Plus in 2025, T-Mobile may offer you $300 meaning you just lost $600 in 1 years time. In 2026, T-Mobile might give you $200. Depreciation is Very Quick on cellular phones. Hold onto your phone for at least 4 years before getting a new one. Unless you are made of mega bucks.
Good luck, do your research before you buy. Don't let anyone talk you into buying something you did not want. It is your money, spend wisely and be Smart, just as you should when buying a new car.
