Migrated from Sprint, voicemail questions
I finally had a T Mobile sim card put in and the Sprint one removed few months ago in my Samsung S21. Not happy with some of the changes on my phone, but coming to grips with my voicemail. I have the greeting set up, and now have a purple VM icon on my home screen. It does say visual voicemail, which far as I know I didn’t sign up for and don’t pay for. Before the sim card swap I’d have a notification of new VM on that icon, not that doesn’t happen. Only way I know I have new VM is by the notifications that show when I pull down from the top of my phone screen where all notifications are, and when I open up the VM icon the new message does not show up, I literally have to refresh/sync and wait a bit before it shows up. I don’t want to be notified on the top screen pulldown, I want to be able to glance at my home screen and see the notification on the VM icon. How do I do this?
I’d also like to be able to click on the icon and just have my messages play without dialing 1 or anything like that. And why does it say visual voicemail, as I mentioned I did not sign up for it and the feature doesn’t work anyway, which is fine

Not sure with Samsung but on my Pixel 6 I get a missed call notification but it changes to voice mail if a message is left.
Also there's a dot that shows on the dialer if there's a message so try going into your dialer and click on the 3 dots upper right side, click voicemail and you can check your settings there.

Not a major deal, I can still pay the bill and do other stuff.
But what about my voicemail issue? - syaoranTransmission Titan

You need to reach out.to Customer Care to have that corrected. They might need to do a Change of Responsibility to set you as the Primary Account Holder again.

You need to call Tmobile to do a change of responsibility.
