I Want My Promised Rebate

I switched to T-Mobile Internet in November - at the time I was told to follow the instructions to submit for a $200 rebate.  When I did that, it showed $100 - but I thought that was just an error.  I got confirmation on Nov 25 that the received the submission and it would take 6 to 8 weeks for processing.  After 8 weeks I received an email that the reward for $100 was complete and there was a link to retrieve it.  Well, like others, the link said there was an error, so try again.  After a day of messing with that, I called customer service and this friendly peppy woman said she’s take care of everything and she could send me a plastic card rather than mess with a link.  Sounded great to me - she said I’d receive it in 10 to 15 business days.  Well, that time has come and gone and still no rebate (that was to be $200 and has been reduced to $200 and then never available.

It’s clear that the rebate is just a fraudulent way for T-Mobile to attract customers and the never pay. While I’m very happy with how the Internet gateway is performing, I am completely disillusioned with T-Mobile as a company.

From looking at this forum, I am not the only one.

  • you’ll have better luck contacting TMO through either Facebook or Twitter..you start with tier 2 support compared to the call in tier 1 support agents.
