T mobile internet for home
My home internet sucks so much, I used to have around 99 MBPS, now I'm running at .5 or lower, I'm paying a monthly fee for something I can't use, because it's so slow all I get is a red circle showing it's down loading but it never finishes so I'm forced to just change channels to watch dish, because I can't stream any shows.davesflsts037 hours agoNewbie Caller16Views0likes0CommentsIncorrect Location being Detected
I live in Arkansas, but I get targeted ads from multiple states on many of my streaming platforms (youtubeTV, Facebook, etc) I believe it's because the server rotates locations since it is cell signal based. Is there a way that I can make my in-home unit identify my location properly as being in Arkansas? The most common ads think I am in Kansas or Missouri. Can you help?TominArkansas8 hours agoNetwork Novice178Views0likes1CommentT-Mobile phone support staff do NOT FOLLOW UP!
Very frustrated after 3 years with T-Mobile. Multiple calls and always a promise to call back but it rarely, if ever, happens. They make big promises but obviously don't care about customers after the initial contact on a problem.Bobr509 hours agoNewbie Caller20Views0likes0CommentsChange Primary Account holder
I'm not able to gather all the information to change me to the PAH instead of my husband. My husband has advanced Alzheimer's disease and can't use the phone anymore. His phone is disconnected, and I can't access his on-record email. I pay all the bills and have been for some time.helserj9 hours agoVisitor10Views0likes0CommentsCostco Promotion 250186 not working
Ported over 2 lines from ATT at the end of March at a Costco Kiosk. Qualified for 2 promotions. 240150-Costco gift card and 250186-Prepaid VISA card. Kiosk employee had me try and submit on promotions.t-mobile/com that afternoon but neither promotion would work. Ported numbers not available in the dropdown. I waited 3 days, tried again, no luck. I've been in contact many times with customer service over the last 1.5mo. They were able to submit an application on my behalf for 240150-Costco gift card but claim the 250186-Prepaid VISA card promotion is too new and are unable to submit for me. My ported numbers are still not available on the promotion website dropdown. Given that customer service is unhelpful I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do at this point.MagentaCellular16 hours agoVisitor49Views0likes0CommentsConsumer complaint
My experience with TMobile has been nothing but wasted money, time and stress. Since switching from Verizon to them I’ve filed 3 claims for phones that have been consistently inoperable. The most recent event was yesterday where I spent 4 hours on the phone including two hours today, where I’ve been getting the run around. They tried to tell me I was’t paying my insurance premium when it’s automatically taken out of my bill totaling $700/month, so they not only told me I was uncovered but then retracted and said I was. I still don’t have the phone that’s needed to run my business and they tried to offer me $50 to compensate for the inconvenience and time. Their associates are not trained properly and have poor documentation as I’ve repeatedly explained the issue to over 5 representatives. They tried to compensate me $59 like this will change the fact that I’ve now lost thousands per day. The end result is: no phone! I highly recommend not switching or using T-Mobile. I expect way more out of a cellular company that I spend thousands with every other monthNeema18 hours agoVisitor34Views0likes0CommentsG4AR: connection via WiFi vs. via Ethernet cable on LAN1
I recently installed the white G4AR device using the Rely 5G Home Internet service. When I connect to the device via WiFi, i.e., directly, and run SpeedTest, I get 486 Mbps down/65.9 Mbps up, which is pretty good. However, when I connect an Ethernet cable to the LAN1 port on the G4AR which is then connected to my firewall, then through a non-managed gigabit switch and then to my own WiFi access point, I get 269 Mbps down/17.6 Mbps up. While the reduced throughput could be due to my firewall/switch/access point, I doubt it, as I've used those devices to connect to a wired ISP in the recent past without a problem. Is anyone aware of some sort of throttling of throughput when going through the gigabit Ethernet connections of the G4AR? Would I get better throughput going through the LAN2 port for any reason?DrexelHill5G2 days agoNetwork Novice38Views0likes0CommentsT-Mobile Begins Cellular Starlink Beta, But It Only Works on These Samsung Phones

On Tuesday, a number of T-Mobile subscribers reported receiving access to T-Mobile's "direct-to-cell" Starlink beta program, which the company announced last month.T-Mobile has been notifying eligible customers through text messages, according to social media posts. One included a screenshot showing a T-Mobile account subscribed to the satellite network. The technology lets you send text messages without relying on traditional ground-based cell towers. Instead, the phone relays the text messages using orbiting Starlink satellites, giving consumers a way to remain connected in cellular dead zones, similar to Apple’s Emergency SOS satellite messaging for iPhones. When we asked about the beta launch, T-Mobile said: "We continue to make great progress toward a full beta test availability; more details to come soon." In the meantime, the carrier also published a new support document that reveals the cellular Starlink system only works on five Samsung models for now: the Galaxy Z Flip 6 5G, Galaxy Z Fold 6 5G, Galaxy S24 5G, Galaxy S24 Plus 5G, and Galaxy S24 Ultra 5G. “Text messages may take longer than normal to be sent while connected to the T-Mobile Starlink satellite network,” the support document says. “Picture and video messaging is not included during the beta phase.” Recommended by Our Editors Starlink's $50-Per-Month 'Backup' Plan Has One Big Downside Elon Musk Using Cybertrucks As Starlink Stations for LA Fire Relief AST SpaceMobile's Large Satellites to Roll and Tilt to Prevent Astronomy Interference Eligible phones will only switch to satellite connectivity if customers are in an area without traditional cell or roaming services. “Manually selecting the T-Mobile Starlink network will not work while other cellular connection options are available,” the document adds. “When connected to T-Mobile Starlink, your device will display T-Mobile SpaceX at the top-left side of your screen.” SpaceX recently secured approval from the FCC to operate the cellular Starlink technology commercially. T-Mobile has not announced pricing, but SpaceX plans to eventually support data and voice calls via the cellular Starlink service. T-Mobile has also activated the cellular Starlink tech for customers living in areas of Los Angeles devastated by the recent wildfires. The same satellites will also beam emergency alerts to all phones in the affected areas, regardless of carrier.jim13482 days agoTransmission Trainee11KViews0likes15Comments
