January is a great time to reflect on the year that just ended and plan for great new things to come. The time for New Year’s resolutions, big and small, is here.

Take a moment to look back and appreciate what you’ve accomplished. Celebrate the growth you’ve experienced over the past year and the hardships you’ve overcome. These achievements can be big life events or small, meaningful moments. Scroll through your camera roll or messages to reminisce about the cool things that stood out. Did you discover new music or shows? Start new adventures or finish big projects?

Share in the comments your favorite moments of 2024, no matter how big or small.

Setting goals and sticking to them can prove to be an uphill battle. I love the idea of breaking bad habits or establishing better ones, but I always seem to lose focus and motivation about two weeks in. If you’ve successfully made and stuck to New Year’s resolutions, I give you the highest of fives. I know how challenging it can be, and you’re an inspiration!

What apps or strategies are you using that make your goals more attainable?

Hopefully, your New Year’s celebrations were just what you needed to start the year off right!

thank you HeavenM, i did not expect to find philosophy here but it often helps to look at the bigger picture once in a while.  New Year is the traditional time to do that.  I would rather do it while raising a toast to all the good things, but at the same time not ignoring the bad things.  I would add focusing a little more on progress seems to be psychologically more uplifting.  But since I am by nature and by age a contrarian, I also love a good rant.  The thing is, or maybe it is highly individual, what has worked for me, is to stay verbal, keeping expressing what you feel, whether it is positive or negative, and keep lingering worries from being inside your head.  So, good luck to all for 2025, let's hope Tmo will become more agile, more transparent, and thus more successful.  (in order that more Americans can access as much info and data as our little hearts desire)  Cheers !
