Re: Access Denied from Home Internet, works from phone
Jan 13, 2025 - I'm having the same, lame issue as described above: Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://www.t-mobile.com/support/home-internet/5g-gateway-g4ar" on this server. Reference #18.c5b42d17.1736775594.209137 https://errors.edgesuite.net/18.c5b42d17.1736775594.209137 I reported it to my browser, and I would love to get an answer from T-mo or anyone who knows is happening, if you will pardon my french. Is it a software bug, a glitch in T-mo's execution, a curse, or heaven forbid, some strange hacking attempt ? Has anyone ventured to "edgesuite.net" ? btw-the G4AR (white device) is working, OTA internet signal is there, other websites are resolving; just the T-mo address seems to be blocked. Is it because I said something on the community and someone if messing with me lol ?50Views0likes0CommentsRe: Reflect and Recharge: Celebrate 2024 and Set Smart Goals for 2025
thank you HeavenM, i did not expect to find philosophy here but it often helps to look at the bigger picture once in a while. New Year is the traditional time to do that. I would rather do it while raising a toast to all the good things, but at the same time not ignoring the bad things. I would add focusing a little more on progress seems to be psychologically more uplifting. But since I am by nature and by age a contrarian, I also love a good rant. The thing is, or maybe it is highly individual, what has worked for me, is to stay verbal, keeping expressing what you feel, whether it is positive or negative, and keep lingering worries from being inside your head. So, good luck to all for 2025, let's hope Tmo will become more agile, more transparent, and thus more successful. (in order that more Americans can access as much info and data as our little hearts desire) Cheers !764Views1like0CommentsRe: T-Mobile TMHI Gateway + my old router
wish I knew more about those issues and could give some positive suggestion, but I don't. You are right that "There's nothing to change in the TMO gateway"; it is a rather dumb device, deliberately made so by Tmo and their software implementation. Unfortunately, they and perhaps the rest of the Telcos have taken the 'concept of a plan' approach, and seem to think that people are not very bright so t-mo is better off if we have no choices to make. Mores the pity. think the app and their approach to with-hold the ability to make any adjustments to suit our patricular needs is a bit cynical and over-bearing. What I have not tried is connecting my router to the G4AR in order to have a few options. As I understand it that can create some issues, but I may end up ditching Tmo and going back to my previous ISP. It's too bad they do not feel it is in their interest to be more transparent and to design their system to give us options.119Views0likes0CommentsRe: Old T-Mobile Internet App works, New T-Life app Doesn't
thank you to all the folks who posted. (in the hope that help will be forthcoming), I'm grateful. If T-mo really wants to go to the head of its class and I wish it would, it could make this "forum" more functional, along with the "T-Life App" which shows as being created on 6-6-2016, making it 8 years old. (Vers. 10.4.2 does claim to be updated 12-13-2024, but does anyone believe that ?) Adding a router seems to be the only option for gaining function. Oh, and btw, it amounts to typical Telco disrespect that they take no interest in providing any real support on this venue. I thought they had a real vision of how good a Telco could be if it tried, but maybe I was wrong to bet on them. Surprise us, T-mo, and we will pledge some loyalty. Despise us, T-mo, and we will have to flee.667Views2likes1Comment
