T-Mobile International, the wireless subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom AG (NYSE:DT) officially launches its global brand for mobile communications services across America today - underscoring the choice it brings to consumers to use ‘one phone, one number, one service’ when traveling worldwide. Replacing the VoiceStream Wireless brand, T-Mobile® is the new name to represent the company’s 'Get More®' service offering on a global basis, promising more minutes, more features and more service than any other carrier. American consumers need only look for the signature magenta ‘T’ to know they are getting the best value in their wireless voice and data services.

With service available today to more than 207 million people in more than 8,000 cities across the country, T-Mobile offers consumers and enterprise customers the most advanced and affordable wireless services available, using the world’s largest voice and 2.5G data network based on GSM (Global Systems for Mobile Communications) technology – the most commonly used standard worldwide. Consumers benefit from this global affiliation by having the choice to use their same number and same device when traveling to more than 90 countries worldwide with rates as low as 99 cents a minute through its WorldClass service.

Starting today airwaves across the country will be filled with T-Mobile and its 'Get More®' promise through an aggressive advertising campaign, featuring internationally acclaimed actress Catherine Zeta-Jones, T-Mobile’s global spokesperson. Zeta-Jones will appear in nationally broadcast television, print and radio advertisements showing consumers how they can use T-Mobile to Get More® from life.

T-Mobile is the only carrier in the world to offer wireless services on both sides of the Atlantic with a single GSM technology, single global brand name and unified 'Get More®' promise to consumers.

T-Mobile offers the most innovative devices for seamless use on its 2.5G high-speed wireless data network such as the T-Mobile Pocket PC Phone Edition that gives customers a true, full color Internet experience on a mobile device, fully integrated with pocket versions of their favorite Microsoft software applications. The dual-band phone functionality means customers can use their T-Mobile Pocket PC device when traveling internationally. T-Mobile also offers the BlackBerry 5810™ wireless handheld device that integrates phone functionality with the popular Blackberry™ wireless e-mail solution into a single compact and easy-to-use device.

Robert Dotson, president and COO, T-Mobile USA, Inc., said the new T-Mobile global brand represents an opportunity to better highlight the full range of mobile services and devices that VoiceStream introduced to the U.S. marketplace including text messaging and high-speed wireless data services. “Mobile communications have exploded in the past two years, extending way beyond voice-only services to give customers constant access to their e-mail, the Internet and other information virtually whenever and wherever,” Dotson said. “The T-Mobile global brand reflects the whole spectrum of mobile services we provide on a worldwide basis, while maintaining our 'Get More®' promise to provide customers with the best overall value and service in their wireless communications.”

Consistent with its 'Get More®' promise, T-Mobile offers a variety of price plans that give customers big buckets of minutes that can be used anytime during the day, nights and weekends – with no restrictions on calling times.

Additionally, customers can choose from rate plans featuring free nationwide long distance and free digital GSM roaming, making their home phone obsolete.

T-Mobile was the first to offer customers the easiest and most convenient way to use the popular AOL® Instant Messenger™ service (AIM®) by offering handsets with the feature fully integrated into the user interface.

Additionally, T-Mobile operates the world’s largest Wi-Fi (802.11b) wireless broadband network under the name T-Mobile HotSpotsm
