The Un-carrier’s commitment to active duty military and veterans goes deep. In April this year, the company introduced T-Mobile ONE Military, offering veterans and their families the biggest discount ever from T-Mobile and the biggest discount in wireless – half off family lines. At the same time, T-Mobile pledged to hire 10,000 more veterans and their spouses in the next five years and funded FourBlock’s efforts to launch its career readiness program, FourBlock Online, completely free to veterans transitioning into the civilian workforce. In addition, T-Mobile has donated and raised awareness for Team Rubicon’s veteran-led initiatives to help communities across America come back after natural disasters; and last but not least, T-Mobile has committed to invest over half a billion dollars to enhance coverage and capacity in communities located near U.S. military bases, laying the foundation for 5G.
