Sprint continues to closely monitor, optimize and protect our network during this very important and critical time. As more customers continue to work from and stay at home, and connect with loved ones, we have seen an overall increase in network usage, particularly voice and messaging, which have increased approximately 20 percent and 25 percent, respectively. Customers are staying connected, informed and entertained through increased gaming and Web browsing on the Sprint network, and have also been using more video streaming and social media.
If and when needed, Sprint is ready to add more capacity to support an increase in usage demand. Plus, because of the efforts we’ve taken over the last couple of years, including upgrading our network, we are able to help provide better wireless experiences for our customers. We are committed to help ensure our customers are able to depend on our network when they need it most.
