Sprint Announces Support for Customers in Tennessee Impacted by the Recent Tornadoes

Sprint customers who want to help those impacted by the recent tornadoes in Tennessee can text-to-donate a $10 one-time gift to one of the following:

  • The American Red Cross in support of the Southern Tornadoes and Floods reliefe effort. Text REDCROSS to 90999.
  • World Central Kitchen which is on the ground in Nashville feeding those who have been impacted. Text FOOD to 80100.

The donation will appear on customers’ wireless bills or will be added to their prepaid balance. Standard message rates may apply.

Sprint has partnered with Cumulus Broadcasting of Nashville to provide some relief to the victims of the recent tornadoes.

From March 11 through March 31, 2020, new household item donations such as blankets, batteries, socks, underwear, and toiletries and personal hygiene products will be accepted at the following Sprint store locations:

All items collected will be donated to Nashville’s Community Resource Center (www.crcnashville.org).

After tornadoes caused widespread, heavy damage in parts of Tennessee, Sprint today announced assistance for impacted customers. Effective March 3 – March 6, 2020, Sprint will provide unlimited talk, text and data access to all customers at no extra cost to customers with the following zip codes: 37218, 37208, 37209, 37203, 37206, 37207, 37201, 37214, 37076, 37122, 37090, 37087, 38501, 38506, 38505, 38574, 38544, 38582, 38545, and 38548.

As a reminder to wireless consumers, there are a number of ways to help stay connected and informed during potential service interruptions. Also, Sprint stores are here to serve the community if any wireless consumer is in need of device charging. Please check the Sprint store locator tool to confirm that the store nearest you is currently open.
