Re: Pixel 9 stuck on LTE/NSA after December update
*Update - Looks like Google may have fixed a bug. With the December 2024 update, Adaptive Connectivity actually does something now. When it's enabled, changing the network type in the hidden Phone Info screen has no effect. If I disable Adaptive Connectivity then changing the network type in the hidden Phone Info screen has no effect.159Views0likes0CommentsPixel 9 stuck on LTE/NSA after December update
Just got the December 2024 update on my T-Mobile SIM-locked Pixel 9 phone. I'm using a T-Mobile eSIM. After the update my phone will only connect to LTE or 5G NSA. My phone will not connect to 5G Standalone anymore even when I force it into NR Only mode. In fact, if I force my phone into LTE Only mode it won't connect to 5G of any kind until I do a reset of mobile network settings. What happened to the cellular connectivity? Is this a bug or intended behavior?184Views0likes1CommentRe: why does t mobile suck
Up until recently I've been having strange issues with voice intermittently not working. I have a SIM unlocked version of the Samsung Galaxy S24 phone. I'm using a T-Mobile eSIM. The issue I'm having is my phone would be on 5G Standalone (UC). Someone would call me and the call would go straight to voicemail. If they called me enough my phone would finally drop to LTE and the call would come through. Just by chance I toggles the eSIM off and back on. After that in the Mobile Networks settings menu the option for Voice over NR showed up. I also started getting 5G carrier aggregation after turning the eSIM off and on. Strangely powering the phone off and on didn't do any of this.231Views0likes0CommentsGalaxy S24 keeps losing 5G
I live in Portland, Oregon. I'm using a carrier unlocked Samsung Galaxy S24 (SM-S921U1) that I bought from Best Buy. My phone uses an eSIM. In my area Voice over 5G has not been enabled. Recently my phone has been having a strange issue. When it is idle it will use 5G standalone. As soon as I start doing anything that uses data such as using Google Maps or Android Auto, my phone will fall back to LTE. The UC next to the 5G icon disappears and my phone will say the connection to 5G NSA failed on the hidden phone information screen. Prior to May 2024 my phone had no issue connecting to 5G NSA. Does anyone know why my phone is suddenly falling back to LTE?126Views0likes0Comments
