visual voicemail

Has anyone had the same problem that I’m having? I bought my brand new Tmobile branded Samsung Galaxy S20 plus direct from Samsung. I’ve never had this problem with any previous phones that I’ve had. Whenever I launch the visual voicemail app, it keeps on saying associated with different account. Want to set up and activate? Yes or No I click yes, then it activates. And shows that it’s set up. But as soon as I either close the program or just close the app window by swiping the app page up to close it, and then I tap on the app icon to launch it again, it shows me the same window saying associated with different account and if I want to activate. (If I say no, then it just closes the window/program.) I’ve talked to Tmobile about this. The tech was very nice, even deleted my voicemail setup from their end to start it from scratch hoping it would clear up this error. I’ve also deleted, uninstalled, cleared cache, at least 4 times and rebooted...no changes...once I install, same window and error comes up. Anyone here have any suggestions what I should do? Thanks!9KViews6likes16CommentsVoicemail notification not linked to T mobile visual voicemail
I’ve just switch my phone from the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 to Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G and I’ve been having issue with the voicemail notification. I get a lot of voicemails each day and I use the T Mobile Visual Voicemail App to listen and delete those voicemails. When I had my old phone, it used to link and if I listen or clear out new voicemails, the notification in the notification bar will disappear. It use to work really well with my old phone, but not the new one. Now, when I get a new voicemail, it would notify on the phone & in the notification bar. When I get the notification, I would normally go in the T Mobile Visual Voicemail App to hear it. The voicemail alert notification in the notification bar keeps showing even if I already heard or deleted all the new voicemails. THE ONLY WAY to clear our the voicemail alert notification in the notification bar is to press the notification to CALL the voicemail box. Once it’s called, it will say “your mailbox is empty”, then the notification would disappear within a minute Please help to fix issue. It’s annoying to see the notification all the time. It’s also a hassle having to use both method of checking the voicemail to clear out the notifications.931Views2likes2CommentsCant hear voicemails. volume too low
I cant hear the voicemails through visual voicemail. The volume is really low and there is no way to change this. The only way i can hear them is to put it on speaker. This happens with every voicemail i get no matter the caller. Why is there not a way to turn the volume up?370Views1like2CommentsTwo Voicemail Notifications for Each Message
So I was Sprint and got the new T Mobile dual SIM card and had to download the T Mobile visual voicemail app. Ever since I get TWO voicemail notifications for each message. What's worse is one of them is DINGING like every 15 seconds until I stop everything I'm doing to listen to both of them. It renders the phone pretty useless for anything else. Can't hear the nav, music, or anything else just ding dong ding. I saw a similar post marked resolved but it's not. Still no answer. And before a T Mobile rep says to call you guys, I'VE TRIED THAT! You won't take my calls about it because I'm still on Sprint billing. Been trying to take care of that problem too but that's another nightmare. Help?2.1KViews1like5Commentsvisual voicemail no longer shows my messages transcribed inside the app itself.
So I have been trying to figure this one out, i have call in multiple times to where eventually I gave up. I think that the voicemail to text feature is getting mixed up with the voicemails being transcribed in the actual vvm app. I paid for the feature and was still not getting the messages transcribed in the app but would receive the sms text with the transcription in my messages. Before when it was working correctly i had no vm to text subscription or feature on my account and my voicemails would show the option to play back in the vvm app as well as the transcription of the message right below the play icon. I believe the problem lies in the app software because oddly enough i was able to clear app cache and data then uninstalled reinstalled the app and when the app loaded back up and i set it up again i tested it immediately and the vm Did show with the transcription in the vvm app but sadly reverted right back on the very next vm that i received only allowing the play back to listen to message with no transcription showing inside my vvm app. for example in the images i pulled up on google shows the messages transcribed there inside the app. This is what I’m wanting my vvm app to display giving me the option to view, play, delete, save, ect. all in one app, not have to check the transcription inside my text messages app then open vvm up to delete the message or call into the vm to delete from there. Please fix this , this is still a problem and from what ive researched its been going on for a number of years now :(2.4KViews1like6CommentsVisual Voicemail Error

As of this morning when I dial 1, instead of it telling me my voicemails it says "You have reached the voicemail system. If you have an account, press * then put in your 10 digit phone number." Its never been this way before. I called T Mobile support and the guy just said "my advice is this is more secure and this is what we prefer now after an update" This sounds like baloney because nobody I know has to do that and it happened SUDDENLY as of this morning. I check my voicemail like 30x per day, I AM NOT putting in my own phone number every type and going through all that.3.2KViews1like3Comments
