Why? I traded my 3 phones for the free phone promo last Aug. Thinking my 3 devices will be almost free. I called customer service right away when they charged me $20 something for each phone monthly to complain. Customer assured me that they will fix the problem and rest assured that no monthly devices fee will be charged moving forward. It happenned again a month after then same promises then another month again...and every month I call ( about 8 months with more than 8 rep that I talked with same promises) What shall I do now? I am tired of calling and to waste my time. How can I file a complaint?2.2KViews9likes17CommentsT-Mobile has been overcharging me for months
I am so disappointed and angry about the billing I’ve received from T-Mobile. Our coverage has gotten worse with the new towers while our bills, which were supposed to stay at $85 have ballooned to almost $200 a month. We traded in phones that were in perfect working order and were assured on multiple occasions that the promotion for the iPhones we received would lead to no increase in our monthly bill. I am not sure whom to report their business practices to, but I will be finding a way to take action if they do not refund the overcharges and return us back to our previous bill amount.4.2KViews8likes16CommentsIs this what being a T-Mobile customer is like?
I’m here to ask while I still have a chance to escape T-Mobile if I need to. So I took advantage of the promotion that T-Mobile had where you could get $800/phone when you trade in a qualifying device when activating a new line of service. I had two iPhone XS and a Galaxy S9 from Verizon that I was trading in and porting in the new number. That was Tuesday evening (1/11/22). The call was all over the place and didn’t go smoothly but it seemed like it ended the right way. I asked multiple times to confirm I would be receiving the $800 credit towards each of my new purchases, paid the tax, and submitted the order over the phone. I received the new phones on Thursday evening (1/13/22). Due to the fact that I needed to make sure all of our stuff was backed up on our phones and my mother’s, I couldn’t activate the phones right away. I did it today, 3 days later on 1/16/22. Before I confirmed the order, I asked if boxes would be sent so I could ship the trade-ins to T-Mobile. She said that there would be. No boxes came with the order. She also said that I could take them to my nearby T-Mobile store and turn them in there if I was more comfortable doing that. Given that there was $2400 on the line and I wanted to make sure my trade-in phones arrived in the same condition as they left my house (pristine), I decided to bring them to the store. I took them to the Monticello, MN location and right away the guy told me he wouldn’t take the phones because I didn’t buy them there. I told him I had no idea where to send them because I didn’t receive shipping labels or boxes. He said he would print them out for me...but then he looked up our phones and said that there were no promotions for our devices and that he couldn’t help us. First thing...it seemed apparent to me that they just didn’t want to help us at the store since we bought it over the phone/had the new phones shipped. Second, the guy was pretty arrogant. Thirdly, when I called to try to things taken care of, they told me it was going to be an hour long wait. Sure...when I called to setup new service, there was no wait. Now after I’ve already activated, I get put to the back of the line and need to wait an hour. So I set the call back option so that when it was my turn T-Mobile would call me back. They call back a little over an hour later and the person that gets on the line hangs up on me immediately. So I call the new sales line...get someone on the phone immediately, and explain to them what’s going on. They tell me that the rep that setup my order did not enter the trade-ins or the promotion and that we were no longer eligible for that offer. They’re refusing to honor it retroactively as well even though they see the order was made on that date and can review the calls where I confirmed multiple times that the promotion would be applied. I almost blew my top. This is still not resolved but now my lines are no longer on Verizon and I really have no recourse at all except to migrate our data back over to the older phones, return the phones and try to get Verizon to re-enable our lines. I have NEVER had a worse experience with a cell-phone company. Has anyone else experienced anything similar with T-Mobile?Solved3.3KViews5likes11CommentsTmobile lost my trade in and is not honoring trade credit. What can I do?
I shipped the trade in to T-Mobile, the tracking says it was delivered. I called them to ask about my trade in credit and they said they never received the phone. I provided them the tracking number and the email saying how much my trade in was approved for. They are now only offering me $80 from what was supposed to be $380. What are my options here? I’ve been a T-Mobile customer for a very long time with 6 lines and multiple new phones on payment plans.7KViews4likes19CommentsShipping Label To Send Old Device Back
So, I have taken advantage of $500 off for Galaxy S20 FE with Trade-In. I have the new phone with me. However, I literally can’t find Trade-In Label or Instructions anywhere on my account. Can someone please help me out in this regard? Also, I did return an unopened OnePlus 8 back to T-Mobile and it was received on Monday. How many days would it take before my account is updated and the device is removed from EIP status?Solved60KViews3likes8CommentsI'm getting billed for a phone that I haven't received
I ordered the Gray Green 512gb Samsung Z Fold 4 last Friday. 2-day delivery. T-mobile site and UPS site stated it was to arrive between Tuesday 11/25-11/30/22. Today is Sunday 12/04/22. I’ve called and spoken to multiple representatives from both T-mobile and UPS. UPS sent a notice via email that they were Out for Delivery on 11/29//22. No update given that they were changing the delivery date. Instead the next day the site says the package status is “The delivery date will be provided as soon as possible.” They offered no active solution except to wait and because UPS couldn’t find the package in their warehouse: to file a claim. T-Mobile & UPS representatives all keep telling me to wait because: (UPS) - its still being processed. They can’t find it. it might be on a truck. (but if its on a truck its been in the truck since Tuesday 11/29/22). Its been a week now. (T-Mobile) - Its the holiday and its most likely delayed. UPS shipping update states that the package was received at the local UPS 11/28/22 & Out for delivery on 11/29/22 @9:39am. Its been over a week. I’m filing a claim. I’ve been billed for a device that I did not receive. This is a trade-in and upgrade. The 30-day shipping window for sending in my device for trade-in is about to lapse. Please help. If its going to be a hassle like this, I don’t want the phone. Do something to help resolve this. What are my options? I don’t want to be billed for a phone that I did not receive. Its almost the 2nd month for the billing date of this phone that I did not receive and the 30-day window for trade-in is about to lapse. UPS has lost my phone order from T-Mobile before and gave me an empty box. Please don’t let this happen again. I’ve been a loyal Tmobile customer for many years. This is a terribly disappointing experience. I would recommend a more secure way for your customers to receive their order: Pick up shipped order at the local T-Mobile store. Or better yet, have UPS ship the phone to a local T-Mobile store. That way, your customers do not need to waste their time chained at the door. Modern times, need modern efficient solutions. For future orders, have my order sent to my local T-Mobile store for pick-up.1.1KViews2likes4CommentsTrade in Issues
I got the iPhone 12 pro Max and traded in my iPhone X for the $830 promo. I mailed my device on November 24th, walked into the post office and got a receipt for proof I dropped it off. I got the return label directly from a T-mobile store since I couldn’t print it at home. I kept the customer copy as well. It’s being shipped to Assurant in Texas but my tracking number hasn’t been updated since December 2nd. It was supposed to arrive Nov. 30th but got pushed back due to holidays I’m assuming. It needs to be returned by December 20th so now I’m getting paranoid. I’m calling them tomorrow and asking if it would still be honored even if the package got lost. It’s not my fault since I did everything correctly. Also all the links on the T-mobile website and app are useless! They just take me to the log in and that’s it. So frustrating! I wouldn’t have switched over if I knew they’re this unorganized. anyone have any similar experiences? I can’t open a claim with the USPS since I don’t know the exact address it’s getting shipped to. My fault for not taking a picture of the label. I just know it’s the Assurant in Lewisville, TX 75057.Solved9.6KViews2likes16CommentsWhat was promised
I recently switched from Verizon to T mobile. It has been a horrible experience! I was promised switch the three lines and phones from Verizon and get three new phones from T mobile. I was told I would get $1000 per phone turned in and get three new iPhone 15s, and would receive 200 per line to switch. After about 9 phone calls of over a hour a piece, and some being three hours long, I have not gotten the trade in right for my old phones, and not got my $200 credit per line. This is so ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There has to be someone at T mobile that can fix problems like this instead of every agent I talk to says it just doesn't work that way, (Tosha). If the promotion code is messed up then there has to be someone that can over ride the stupid program or policy. I want the three phones trade in money applied to my account, because you have received the phones, and I want my three $200 line credits put towards my account as well. It is to easy!!! Do what was promised!!! Go back and listen to the recorded lines that I was talking on and see what was said…. How about having a supervisor that will do what they say!!! I have spoken to three of them and no resolve. Its like no one cares, and want fix this problem. Not to mention ever time I call I have to start from scratch with the whole story again and listen to reasons why I cant get it fixed or cant speak to someone that can fix it…. My name is Kevin Holt, please have a member of management call me at the 2309 number to get this resolved!!Solved308Views2likes2CommentsTrade in device problem
I traded in iphone 12 pro max 512 GB for iphone 15 pro max 256 GB in almost 100% perfect condition, no scratches, touch screen, camera and functions working normally, and it was the one I bought from AT&T, I read the conditions and the value of my phone should be $800. On April 30th, May 1st, I received a text message and email saying that T-mobile has not received my mobile and that my dating deal was May 16th. The officer said it may be in the process, it hasn't been scanned into the system, and then I called to follow up on the matter again on May 5th. The officer couldn't check where my phone was, said they couldn't check my IMEI number, but they would follow up on the matter. On May 6th, I received an email saying “Looks like there was a mix up—the make, model or memory of your quoted device doesn’t match what we received or it was damaged. We will adjust your trade-in value to $230 because of this difference.
