I am looking to remove the personal hotspot feature on my child’s phone. There is a setting on the phone to turn it off but he can just turn it back on and use it whenever. When we had Verizon we called and they placed a block that didn’t allow him to even see it in settings. I tried calling T-Mobile support but they said that can’t do it. Can we do the same thing with T-Mobile?912Views1like5Commentshow to leave a good customer service review?
I am hoping to leave a review about some excellent service I received. I thought a survey would begin after the call, but it never came. Is there a way for me to leave a positive review for an employee if they provided me with their name@T-Mobile?Solved16KViews3likes114CommentsMexico-T-Mobile Mobile Data issue on S22 Ultra e-Sim
I’ve Samsung S22 Ultra 5G with e-SIM. Plan is Simply Pre-Paid with 10GB of Data/Month and has USD$15 for International Calling, which Includes Mexico and Canada. I came to Mexico City, Mexico on 4th Feb 2023 and soon after the Plane Land, I saw the data as LTE. Roaming is On and Manually Selected the Network TELCEL(T-Mobile partner). Now the issue is I can see the LTE Icon, but Chrome, WhatsApp and Facebook are not loading. I reset the Network setting and did a Phone Re-Start. Airplane Mode was on-off, and the Data send/receive is still not working. #RON# (#766#) also tried. I also used Speedtest to see whether data send/receive happened and in Speedtest, it could not connect the Provider and Server. The call and SMS service is working Fine. I raised 2 Tickets, one after another, with Customer Service and Engineer team and they said it would take 72 Hours to resolve. But there is no resolution. #73045642, 69530200 Still depend on Wifi Service and Office Verizon Mobile HotspotSolved2.8KViews0likes22CommentsT-MOBILE: KEEP THE 2G NETWORK UP INDEFINITELY
Hello T-MOBILE, As your customer and provider of revenue, — and on behalf of most of Gen Z and the Elderly — we say DO NOT SHUT 2G DOWN. KEEP IT UP. WE WILL PAY TO BE ON 2G. Reason we want it up is For freedom to downgrade to a simpler phone with ease, The 2G network — due to its simplicity — is far more reliable than 4g and especially 5g; 5g being top-heavy Gen Z (me) and most people like simple things, and since these devices still work, why would we keep blowing cash on new phones? When we’re saving for houses? Finally, We like RAZRs, (not the new one, that’s highway robbery) This brings me to a personal note: 5g is ridiculously superfluous. No one really asked for it, and that’s the truth. We know that many among the billionaire class and the Business Class desire to sell 5g, and they are using blogs, reports, studies, and every other form of persuasive propaganda to sell the “demand” for 5g, but ITS NOT THERE. WE DO NOT WANT IT. There’s such a thing as “Over-Engineering”, and this is a prime example. Gen Z and the public in general simply want affordable, reliable devices, and relationship with people. All your 5g revolution will do is destroy what we need and love, and destabilize the network infrastructure. Think about it: when 4g and 3g went down, what worked? 2g/1x; can’t deny it works. And… “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” - Every Boomer1.3KViews2likes3CommentsJust upgraded my phone, cannot access internet without wifi
I have been a T-Mobile customer for years. I just recently upgraded to the new iPhone 15 Pro Max from a 12 Pro Max. I cannot access the internet ANYWHERE. Spotify? Nope. Google Chrome? Nope. Facebook? Nope. I have full cell service and 5G in all of the places I am attempting to use my phone. My old phone worked in all of these places such as work and in my car during my commute. This is absolutely infuriating. Am I missing something?573Views1like4CommentsNo T-Tmobile service in Morocco for the Two days
I am a T-Mobile customer from the USA and have paid $50 for the international service add-on. However, I have had no service in Morocco for the past two days (6/26/24 and 6/27/24). My son and my sister are both experiencing the same issue, is anyone else experiencing this issue or has any information on resolving it? I talked to the customer service and they told me they have a global roaming issue without providing an ETA. Thank you.382Views1like3CommentsInternet CONSTANTLY drops
Anyone else having issues with the gateway? I have been having issues since before August with the internet dropping constantly and phone calls in the house constantly dropping. I work from home so this cannot happen. I have had multiple T-Mobile techs try to help. I have had a new gateway sent, we upgraded to the mesh, the reset the gateway, we even got a new sim card for the gateway. NOTHING is working. I have been seeing online that it has to do with the firmware update. This needs to be fixed ASAP. I don’t know what else to do besides change providers!1.2KViews3likes11CommentsIs my phone using T-Mobile or AT&T?
I have T-Mobile for internet (with the Arcadyan gateway) and my phone uses AT&T. Lately internet on the phone has been extremely slow, many times I try loading a page and get nothing. If I go back and try again it’ll usually load. Speed on my desktop is quite a bit faster than the phone. The phone is a Motorola android version 11. I regularly shut the phone and gateway down and restart, but it doesn’t help. I’m confused as to whether my phone is using T-Mobile or AT&T for internet, so I’m not sure where to start researching the problem. I have wi-fi calling off as it was causing problems with calls (lots of static, couldn’t hear them, they couldn’t hear me). Also if it makes a difference the network types I have to chose from are LTE, 3G and 2G (I know, not great...). It’s been on LTE all along - when I tried switching to 3G I lost internet altogether on the phone. Mostly I need to know which company is providing internet on my phone. Thank you!Solved1.2KViews1like6CommentsAnyone fed-up with horrible coverage from TMobile
This is a Description of our Complaint with T-Mobile and the BBB: For the past almost 3 years we have had all of our family cell phone lines with T-Mobile. We switched over from Verizon about 3 years ago because we responded to a promotion offered by T-Mobile whereby offered much better coverage at much better prices. Turns out that their marketing in advertising campaign was misleading and inaccurate at best. From day one, the coverage and reception was below any basic level of acceptance causing phone calls in messages to drop or fail at a rate off three failed for one success. After a few months, I complained with T-Mobile, they profusely apologized and told us to be patient because they were in the process of rolling out their new 5G Network and also merging their Network with sprints, and they said that the coverage and service issues will greatly improve in a matter of weeks or a couple of months at the most. When this didn't happen, I called to request a transfer of service and they insisted that it was just a matter of time for their coverage and service to noticeably improve and they offer a nominal remporary discount to keep us from switching over. As expected, the coverage and service not only did not improve but got worse. After another 12 months have gone by and everyone in our household having being fed up with dropped calls failed messages in lack of connectivity, we have decided to switch over to another carrier. When I call T-Mobile to inquire about the process, they told me that we're free to switch over but they're going to charge us retractively rebates and fees that they have waived because we're not meeting the term of our contract. And my question to them what kind of compensation do we get for the 3 years of failing to provide the most basic service that we have been faithfully paying in full for almost 3 years. We'll know that these are tactics that these types of companies use to hold people hostage regardless of whether they are the ones at fault in causing you to leave. This should be unacceptable!37KViews61likes101Comments
